Clearly the writers of the Last Resort Films screenwriting community have franchise fever after seeing the success of series like Halo, Mass Effect and The Question. It seems like every writer wants their own franchise, with recent films like Mortal Kombat and Gargoyles being clear examples of films the writers want to grow into a series. Now, Clive Steinbeck (Triangle, Nocturne) has pitched a new potential series of films - a series of monster movies. Each film would be a different, usually campy, take on a creature feature. The plan is for the series to contain films featuring cryptozoological creatures, giant insects, vicious animals, and more. The series is set to debut in Season 10 with a film based featuring the Jersey Devil.
