Welcome to an new edition of Animation to Film! While the Pokemon franchise branches across just about every possible form of media, this live-action adaptation features some characters who have appeared the TV and film anime versions of the franchise. The film is directed by the Duffer Brothers, creators of "Stranger Things" and was written by Diane Esposito (Power Rangers, The Chain).
