Reaction: It came down to the wire, but The Brothers Kendrick thankfully just managed to come out with an ever so slight profit - probably a testament to Tom Holland's strong box office track record for LRF.

"The Brothers Kendrick is part Brit-rock banger, part family meltdown — and while it strikes a few great chords, it also hits some sour notes. Tom Holland and Tom Glynn-Carney bring solid tension as warring brothers in a rising UK band, but the film leans a little too hard on clichés of self-destruction and tortured genius. When the film focuses on the music, it soars. But the final act gets bogged down in melodrama and predictable beats. Still, if you're into rock band chaos and brotherly breakdowns, there’s enough here to vibe with — just don’t expect a perfect setlist." - Dave Manning, Ridgefield Press

"With at least, the music part being amazing, the drama in The Brothers Kendrick however can be pretty typical and/or cliched at times. But it's Tom Glynn-Carney's and Tom Holland's chemistry that gets you through even in the rough parts." - Liv Simmons, Rogue River Press

"The Brothers Kendrick tries to be gripping tale of a brotherly bond being destroyed by their own vices but falls for the same potholes that nearly doomed Floyd Monroe, mainly that it comes across as more comedic than dramatic. Unlike Floyd, however, The Brothers Kendrick doesn't have charming characters or a likeable lead (although Tom Holland tries his best). Instead, what we're left with is a mishmash of unrealized ideas and lacking execution." - Mitchell Parker, New York Times

Rated R for language, drug and alcohol use, sexual content, and some violence
