The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 32 Round 8)

Round 8 managed to clean up some of the mess left behind from Round 7. Here's The Roundup....

3. Mirror's Curse
The film was decent. The scares were maybe not the most original, but I liked that Billy Cruder's script kept things simple and contained.

2. Cristin Milioti
It was great seeing her get a leading role in Patient Zero. While the role didn't utilize all of her talents, she made the film better. With it turning out decent at the box office, maybe she can get more chances in the future.

1. Box Office
Anything even close to profits would be an improvement over the financial drubbing the studio took in Round 7. This round, 2/3 films made a profit. Even with the losses of Fading Nights, the studio still was able to deposit a little bit in the bank.

3. N/A

2. Donald Glover
I never really understood the appeal of Donald Glover - comedically, musically, etc. I certainly don't think he fit the bill for the leading man in a gritty crime drama like Fading Nights.

1. Award Races
Usually this is about where we start seeing some additional GRA contenders released, but instead in Season 32 we are riding a stretch of five films in a row with a 50-something Metascore.
