The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches: Nicholas Hoult (Germinal, The Young Pretender), Merritt Wever ("Boreas", Blind Faith) and Graham McTavish ("Preacher", The Finest Hours) have signed on to Darren Aronofsky's upcoming black-and-white drama/horror film. Hoult and Wever will play residents of the film's small village setting, while McTavish will play the town priest. Harry Wright and Mob Buck penned the film based on the novel by Gaétan Soucy.

The Flash: Dacre Montgomery ("Showtime", Isla Vista) and Dennis Quaid (Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak, Bastion) have joined the upcoming DC Comics Universe film based on the Flash character. Montgomery will play Barry Allen's childhood friend and rival, Hunter Zolomon. Quaid, meanwhile, will play a Central City police captain. Jonathan Levine is directing the film from a script by Giovanni Garcia.

Oklahoma!: Zoey Deutch (Girl/Girl, "Showtime"), Pedro Pascal (Cosa Nostra, God of War) and John Lithgow (High Society, Flicker) have signed on to the musical drama Oklahoma! from director Damien Chazelle and writer Chad Taylor, based on the famed Broadway musical of the same name. Deutch will play Ado Annie, Pascal will play Ali Hakim, while Lithgow will play Andrew Carnes.

The Champions of Angor: Tim Roth (Walker, Justice League Europe) and Sofia Black-E'Elia ("Showtime", Justice League Europe) have officially signed onto reprise their roles as Blue Jay and Silver Sorceress in The Champions of Angor. Also joining the film will be acclaimed Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi (Shōgun, Pacific Rim: Uprising) as Kimiyo Hoshi aka Doctor Light. Gore Verbinski is directing the film from a script by Dominic Wilkins and Harry Wright.

Crush: Sienna Miller (Maple Leaf, The Osterman Weekend), Dylan Sprayberry (Maximum Ride, "Light as a Feather") and Logan Marshall-Green (Resident Evil, Without Remorse) are set to star in the thriller Crush. Miller will play a high school teacher who finds herself the object of unwanted attention from a new student, played by Sprayberry. Marshall-Green will play Miller's boyfriend in the film. Cate Shortland (Burial Rites, Berlin Syndrome) has been tapped to the direct the film, which is based on a script by Andrew Doster (Love, The Reign of Lady Morgana).

Should've Been Here: Timothee Chalamet (The Virgin Suicides, Oh Johnny Boy) is set to headline the drama Should've Been Here from director Destin Daniel Cretton (Home Again, Just Mercy) and writer Jimmy Ellis (Lady Red, Bastion). Chalamet will play a young aspiring writer in the film who becomes re-acquainted with his high school sweetheart.
