The Omen: Ari Aster's remake/reboot of The Omen will round out its cast with the additions of Thuso Mbedu (The Woman King, "The Underground Railroad"), Camilla Luddington ("Grey's Anatomy", The Healer) and Micheal Ward ("Top Boy", Empire of Light). The film is a rare horror project from writer Chad Taylor.
Good Marriage: The exhaustingly long ensemble cast of Good Marriage has finally been all filled out with Bradley Whitford (Superman: Exile, Queen Margot), Paul Schneider (Abandoned, American Murderer), Sanaa Lathan (Lock Every Door, Native Son), Louis Mustillo (The Maid, Not Fade Away) and Justina Machado (The Purge: Anarchy, All Together Now) all joining the project in supporting roles. Pedro Almodovar directs the film. Gwendolyn King wrote the film based on the novel by Kimberly McCreight. Rosie JoLove produces.
One By One: Another novel adaptation with a big cast is done filling out roles with Awkwafina (Cecil, So This Is What It Feels Like), Matilda De Angelis (Caesar Part III, Risico), Austin Crute (They/Them, Booksmart) and Sasha Lane (Aliens vs. Predator: The First Hunt, Flames) all joining One By One. Based on the novel by Ruth Ware, the film was adapted by Eden Townsend. John Krasinski directs.
The Final Will: Colman Domingo (Luke Cage: Power Man, The Color Purple), John Leguizamo (Tomato Can, Stray Dogs) and Molly Parker (Lock Every Door, Batman Beyond) have joined the Keanu Reeves-led drama The Final Will about a US military veteran reconnecting with his old unit. Darius Marder directs the film from a script by Jimmy Ellis.
The Tomb of Dracula: As it was announced at the Season 29 LRF Comic-Con, Jeremy Allen White (American Idiot, Knievel) and Antony Starr (Run, Blue Ridge) are set to headline an adaptation of the comic The Tomb of Dracula for the studio's Marvel Universe. The film tells the story of a young man who inherits a castle in Europe, only to discover that it is the infamous castle of Count Dracula. White will play Frank Drake, while Starr plays Dracula. Also joining the film will be Maika Monroe (Zombielove, American Dream) and Joseph Quinn (AKA Billy the Kid, "Stranger Things"). Monroe will play Drake's love interest with Quinn as his best friend, who both tag along on the trip to the castle. Adam Wingard (Maledicta, Damned Ship) is directing the film from a script by Jack Brown (Amityville, We Know Where You Live).
Murder Mysteries: Adam Driver (Beasts, Undefeated Abe) and Jared Leto (Natural Selection, Missing Men) are set to star in the ambitious fantasy/mystery film, Murder Mysteries, which tells the story of the first murder in Heaven. Driver will play the angel created to investigated the crime, while Leto will play Lucifer, the Lord's favorite angel. Darren Aronofsky (The Hippie Preacher, Supergirl) is set to the direct the film. John Malone (Superman: Exile, The Spectre) penned the film based on a short story by Neil Gaiman.
