Vampire: Rounding out the cast of the cast of the period thriller Vampire will be Violet McGraw (Red Riding Blood, Amityville), James Frain (Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War, Against the Clock) and Bridget Regan (Wolfenstein, The King of Hearts). Robert Eggers directs the silent film remake from an adaptation by Ben Collins.

Starman: John Lithgow (Eye of the Scarecrow, Oklahoma!), Ella Purnell (Mexican Gothic, Mask of the Phantom) and Theo James (Rachel Rising, Cleopatra) have all joined the Joe Keery-led DC Comics Universe film Starman. Lithgow will play an elderly former supervillain, The Mist, while Purnell and James will play his adult children following in his footsteps. The Duffer Brothers are directing the film from a script by Roy Horne.

Under the Influence: Michael Gandolfini (Bob Marley: One Love, The Many Saints of Newark), Marisa Abela ("Industry", Barbie) and Victoria Pedretti (Tara's Web, Origin) have joined Robert Downey Jr. and Sandra Bullock in the crime-drama Under the Influence. They will all play college students who may or may not come under the influence of an ex-con played by Downey Jr. Andrew Dominik is directing the film - his first LRF project since To the White Sea in Season 5 - based off a script by Chad Taylor.

The Woman Upstairs: Anne Hathaway (Gathering of the Eoves, INFINITY) and Sofia Boutella (Elektra, Extra Ordinary) are set to star in an adaptation of the novel The Woman Upstairs by Claure Messud. Hathaway plays a grade school teacher who finds herself taken with new family in town. Boutella will play the mother/wife of the family, an artist. Rose Glass (Saint Maud, Love Lies Bleeding) is directing the film from an adapation by Rachel Hallett Hardcastle (The Maid, No Promises in the Wind).

The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass: A fourth Dark Tower film is on the way this season, based on the fourth book in the series by Stephen King, Wizard and Glass. In this film the heroes stumble upon a town and a conflict involving psychics and gunslingers. The central players, including Christian Bale (The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands, The Hit Maker), Eric Bana (Superman: Exile, Pompeii), Noah Schnapp (Police Story: Brother, Haven) and Caleb Landry Jones (Batman: Knightfall, The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands) are set to return as Roland Deschain, The Man in Black, Jake Chambers and Eddie Dean, respectively. Also back are director Matt Reeves (Halo: The Fall of Reach, The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands) and screenwriter Matt Parker (Knievel, Sleeping Beauties).

Heartstone: Writer Jacob Jones (Madeline, Victims) was not deterred by the box office failure of The Saints and is back with another original superhero film. Gerard Butler (Watch Dogs, Blood in the Water) is set to star in the film as a Scottish handyman who finds a magical hammer. Cillian Murphy (A Boy and His Robot, Caesar Part II) and Emilia Clarke (The Devil in the White City, "Secret Invasion") have also signed on to the project. Murphy will play a villain, while Clarke will play an ally of the hero. Ridley Scott (Odysseus - Part Two, Pirate Latitudes) has been hired to direct the film.
