The Woman Upstairs: Lizzy Caplan (Crush, Tinseltown) and Christopher McDonald (The Shadow, D.I.C.K.) will round out the cast of the novel adaptation The Woman Upstairs, starring Anne Hathaway and Sofia Boutella. Caplan will play a friend of Hathaway's character, while McDonald will play Hathaway's father. Rachel Hallett Hardcastle penned the script based on the novel by Claire Messud. Rose Glass directs the film. 

The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass: Meg Foster (Titans: Evil Incarnate, Odysseus - Part Two), Stephen Tobolowsky (Poison Ivy: Mind Games, Candy Cane), Ethan Embry (The Devil's Passage, Depth Perception) and rock-star/actor Lenny Kravitz (Shotgun Wedding, The Hunger Games) have signed on to join the latest film in The Dark Tower film series. Foster will play a witch, Tobolowsky the mayor of a small town, while Embry and Kravitz will play villainous gunslingers. Matt Reeves once again directs. Matt Parker penned the script based on the novel by Stephen King.

Heartstone: The Ridley Scott-directed and Gerard Butler-led superhero film has added Wrestler Drew Galloway and Laura Fraser (Scarlet, X-Men: Sinister) to its cast. Jacob Jones penned the original story. Galloway will play a villain, while Fraser will play the wife of Butler's character.

Solace: Tim Roth (The Emperor of Latium, Rainbow Six) and Olivia Colman (Queen Margot, Days Without End) have joined the darkly comedic thriller Solace. Roth will play the rich, temperamental husband of Isabelle Huppert's character, while Colman will play their neighbor in a high rise building. Michael Haneke directs the film from a script by Chad Taylor and Jimmy Ellis.

The Champ: Ben Affleck (Born in Brooklyn, Lowell) is set to star in a remake of the boxing drama The Champ, which had been previously made in both 1931 and 1979. Affleck will play a former heavyweight champ who let his career slip away due to his addictions, but has turned his life around while taking care of his young daughter. Dakota Johnson (The Void, Superman: Exile) and Gabriella Sengos (Blacklight) have also joined the film. Sengos will play Affleck's daughter, who also happens to be his biggest fan. Johnson will play Affleck's ex and the mother of Sengos who re-enters their lives at a pivotal moment. Gavin O'Connor (L.A. Rex, Girl in the Fog) is directing the film from a script by APJ (Batman: Knightfall, Swamp Thing 2).

Becoming Carole Lombard: Lili Reinhart (Hair, Camping) is set to star in a biopic of Hollywood legend Carole Lombard. Luke Evans (Wolfenstein, Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War) and Jason Sudeikis (Be More Chill, Sisters) will also star in the project. Evans will play movie star Clark Gable, while Sudeikis will play Hollywood producer Mack Sennett, who cast Lombard in several projects. Greta Gerwig (Excellent Women, The Youngest Hart) is directing the film based on a script by Ben Collins (Skin, Dandelion).
