3. Profits
Despite a few sizable flops, it seems like the box office is coming around now. Five of the last eight films have managed to earn profits - including a couple big money makers with Thor and Zelda.
2. Video Game Adaptations
Based on the box office outcomes this season, it seems like video game adaptations may have a shot at dethroning superhero films as studio's biggest money-makers - or at least will be the biggest competition.
1. Splendour
Going the Rashomon angle with the death of Natalie Wood was definitely the right idea. It give this film a nice mystery angle that felt more authentic - especially given the conflicting real-life stories of the events. It also allowed each of its cast members to play slightly different versions of the same character.

2. The Legend of Zelda
I've never played any of the Legend of Zelda games, so I don't have much of a reference for this one. But it seemed hard to get into as a noob to the franchise (do the kids still say "noob"?) as it felt like there was a lot of inside baseball type stuff.
1. Danya
I enjoyed some of the more bonkers moments of the story, but I found myself repeatedly questioning who the audience was supposed to be. It was structured like a family animated film of the Pixar or Illumination variety, but the content was obviously anything but.
