From the Desk of Alfie Ellison, VP of International Development: Union Station

Last Resort Films Studio is excited to announce that five-time Golden Reel Award winner Alden Ehrenreich has approached the studio with an intriguing idea for his next big project. The celebrated actor, known for his captivating roles and versatile performances (Death Dream, Elysian, Urban Cowboy), is eager to bring the notorious criminal Pretty Boy Floyd to the big screen in a gripping new film. The project will focus on Floyd's involvement in the infamous Kansas City Massacre of 1933, one of the most dramatic and brutal episodes in American crime history.
In an exclusive discussion with Last Resort Films, Ehrenreich revealed his deep interest in playing the infamous bank robber and outlaw, aiming to portray the complexity of the character against the backdrop of the turbulent era. The studio is thrilled about the potential of this project and the creative vision Ehrenreich brings to it.

In addition to his passion for the role, Alden has already reached out to David Robert Mitchell, the acclaimed director of his award-winning performance in Death Dream, to discuss the possibility of Mitchell returning to direct the film. While Mitchell has expressed interest in the concept, he has yet to make a final decision on whether he will be involved in this highly anticipated project.

Last Resort Films looks forward to exploring the potential of this film and the exciting possibilities that lie ahead as discussions continue.
