In Development

Nation's Pride: Manu Bennett (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Death Race 2050), Edward Norton (Collateral Beauty, Birdman) and Cliff Curtis ("Fear the Walking Dead", Risen) will join Chris and Liam Hemsworth in the WWII true story of Charles Upham from director Martin Campbell and writer Harry Wright. Norton will play a German officer in charge of Colditz Castle, Bennett will play a friend of Upham, and Curtis will play a POW.

Cat People: Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast, Peter and the Starcatchers) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Heart of Stone, Nocturnal Animals) have signed on to the Nicolas Winding Refn-directed Cat People remake. Evans will play the mysterious brother of the main character (Barbara Palvin), while Taylor-Johnson will play a London zookeeper. Lon Charles wrote the script.

Delaware: Christian Bale (Death and All His Friends, Hostiles) will star as George Washington in Delaware, a story of Washington's crossing of the Delware River during the American Revolution. Scott Cooper (Hostiles, Out of the Furnace) will direct the film from a script by Matt Parker.

Halo 2: The sequel to the Season 1 hit Halo will feature familiar faces with Alexander Skarsgard, Chadwick Boseman, Sarah Gadon and Margaret Qualley, who ended up on the cutting room floor, all returning. Gareth Edwards also returns as director, while Mo Buck has taken over the writing duties.

The Fog: Jack Slipter has penned a second remake of John Carpenter's The Fog with Tommy Wirkola set to direct. The cast will be led by Evan Rachel Wood ("Westworld", Into the Forest), Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Walking Dead", Desierto) and Annasophia Robb (The Crash, "The Carrie Diaries").

Home Again: Joining the Last Resort Films stable of writers is Chad Taylor, debuting with the drama Home Again, about two brothers dealing with their father's death in a small Mississippi town. The two brothers will be played by Timothee Chalamet (The Secret History, Paradise Lost) and Joaquin Phoenix (The Raven in the Night, Inherent Vice), while Elle Fanning (The Beguiled, The Neon Demon) will play Phoenix's daughter. Destin Daniel Cretton (Short Term 12, The Glass Castle) will direct the film.
