Now Michael Pitt ("Boardwalk Empire", Ghost in the Shell), who was also considered for The Joker, has also joined the film in a villainous capacity as Roman Sionis, better known as Black Mask.
Last Rites: Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino (Youth, This Must Be The Place) has been hired to direct a drama about an aging action star, Last Rites. Star Trek: Enterprise: Many have been eager to learn more about the previously announced Star Trek film Last Resort Films has been set to produce. Now we know that the film will depict the initial voyage of the Starship Enterprise, captained by Capt. Jonathan Archer, who will be played by Jason Clarke (Nation's Pride, The Osterman Weekend). The film takes inspiration from the Scott Bakula-led TV series "Star Trek: Enterprise" which was set during the early stages of Earth's deep space exploring following "First Contact" with the Vulcans. Lily James (Darkest Hour, Baby Driver), Josh Pence (La La Land, Siren) and Hugh Laurie ("The Night Manager", "Chance") have also all been hired for prominent roles. James will play T'Pol, a Vulcan assigned to chaperone the Enterprise's first mission. Pence will play Commander Charles Tucker, while Hugh Laurie will portray Starfleet Admiral Forrest.
