Plot: Jerry (Charlie Cox) and Ayeza Kline (Tessa Thompson) are a couple with such different personalities, Jerry a hardcore rule following, highly disciplined person whereas Ayeza a care free person who doesn't leave a chance to break a rule, people including Jerry father Ronald (Anthony Hopkins) and Ayeza best friend Sasha McKay (Kate Mckinnon) don't understand how they are together but Jerry and Ayeza know what keeps them together overlooking their different personalities is the love they share for each other. They know they both have things that is not like by the other but that doesn't stop them form being perfect for each other.
After the birth of their child, Ayeza and Jerry decide to go on a holiday, just the two of them. During the flight the plane starts experiencing turbulence, Jerry ties his seat belt while Tessa decided to do it after wrapping up her eating. Suddenly the turbulence increase and the oxygen masks comes down, Jerry start putting his mask he notices that Ayeza is struggling to lock her seat belt, he decides to help her after putting his mask on but before he finishes putting his mask on, the plane takes a nosedive and Ayeza gets jumped out of her seat into the front. Jerry tries to go to her but other passengers stop him. As soon as everything gets back in control they go to check Ayeza, who is not reacting. it is found out that she died as soon as she hit the front wall of the plane.
A few days later we see that both Ronald and Sasha are living with Jerry to help him recover and take care of the baby. Jerry has isolated himself from others blaming himself for the death of Ayeza. Ronald tries to interact with his son but he feels like he is talking to a walking dead body. One day Jerry notices someone standing behind her. He turns to see Ayeza standing there who says she is waiting for him at the place where they first met. Sasha sees this and concludes that Jerry's guilt is making him see Ayeza.
Jerry goes to the club where they first met. The club has now turned into a drug hot-spot. After hectically trying to find Ayeza, Jerry gets tired and disappointed that he can't find her. Jerry sits with a group doing drugs after some time he also indulges in drugs. The moment he starts doing he sees Ayeza sitting with them.
After that moment, Jerry regularly visited clubs and started doing drugs. While intoxicated he would see Ayeza and interact with her about their future and everything. Ronald and Sasha thinks that Jerry is getting out his guilt by socializing but soon Jerry started doing drugs in his home soon they realize what was happening all this days.
They fail in trying to stop Jerry from doing this. One day they both are late from their work when they come back to the house they see that Jerry and Ayeza child is crying aloud and is on the floor and Jerry is nowhere to be found. They find him in his room intoxicated. Sasha starts slapping him and goes on a rant that he should get his act right. Jerry brushes them off and leaves.
Jerry goes to a club where he meets MC (Cillian Murphy) after they both get high, Jerry starts sobbing and tells MC how he is responsible for Ayeza death. MC tells him that he should not blame himself. He tells him that this world is just a station. Life and death is just a cycle.
Next day Sasha and Ronald can't find Jerry anywhere. After a day long search, Jerry's body is found in a river. Jerry is dressed in his wedding suit with Ayeza favorite flowers near him. Ronald says that Jerry has gone to meet Ayeza.
