We're now on to another season of Last Resort Film, Season 14 to be exact. For the first time this season, here's The Roundup....
3. Sean Bean
Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak was an alright film. It had some strong battle sequences, but I'm putting Sean Bean in the Top 3 because he was given a rare leading role.
2. Soundtracks
Well, the soundtrack shortage some recent seasons have seen hopefully won't be an issue this season. One round down so far, and one soundtrack accounted for. Hopefully, the Best Soundtrack category will be more competitive at the next Golden Reel Awards.
1. The Devil's Passage
It was not a film I loved, but I do love that the studio keeps giving western films a chance, prolonging it's viability as a genre.
3. Nicholas Hoult
I actually enjoyed The Young Pretender as a film, and I think it features Hoult's best role since his supporting role in The Prisoner. However, he makes my bottom three for his growing image as box office poison.
2. Russell Crowe
Crowe just didn't get enough to do in Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak. I sure hope he made a big paycheck for the part, because he didn't get much to do as an artist in this one.
1. Box Office
It was a fairly rough opening round box office wise. The only film to perform really well at the box office was Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak, but even that one appeared to under-perform a bit. The Devil's Passage made a profit, but not by too much, while The Young Pretender bombed.
