From the Desk of Alfie Ellison, VP of International Development: Firewatch

Last Resort Films Studio is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the rights to adapt the critically acclaimed video game Firewatch into a live-action film. With its breathtaking visuals, gripping narrative, and deeply emotional storytelling, Firewatch captivated audiences around the world, and we are excited to bring this unique experience to the big screen.

We are also proud to announce that Chris Pine, renowned for his roles in Star Trek, McCain, and Klondike, has been attached to star in the film. Pine will bring to life the complex character of Henry, a fire lookout stationed in the Wyoming wilderness, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and mystery.

"Firewatch has always been a special story to me—it's a beautiful exploration of human connection, isolation, and personal redemption," said Chris Pine. "I’m honored to bring this world to life alongside the amazing team at Last Resort Films."

The film, set in the stunning wilderness of the Wyoming mountains, will follow Henry as he navigates a mysterious and haunting situation while bonding with his supervisor, Delilah, whose voice guides him through the complexities of their remote world.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey to bring Firewatch to the silver screen, with Chris Pine leading the way in what promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.

We can’t wait to share more with you soon!
