Cedar Ridge: Director Derek Cianfrance's latest film for LRF, the drama Cedar Ridge, has rounded out its supporting cast with the additions of Peyton List (Camping, Tekken: Blood Feud), Charlotte Ann Tucker (Slanted, Thunderbolts*), and Lainey Knowles ("A Loud House Christmas", "Grosse Pointe Garden Society"). Joshua Collins penned the soon-to-be-released film.

Before Love Came to Kill Us: Denzel Washington (The Life After, The Invincible Iron Man) has signed on for a rare supporting role, playing the villainous boss of Michael B. Jordan's thief in the crime/romance Before Love Came to Kill Us. Kat Dennings (Excellent Women, "Shifting Gears") has also joined the project as the snarky best friend of Ana de Armas' character. Barry Jenkins directs from a script by Dawson Edwards.

Starship Troopers: The Noah Centineo-led Starship Troopers adaptation has added Julie Benz (Foster Boy, Life on the Line), Randall Park (Control, Among Us), and Jacob Lofland (Friday the 13th: Blood Ties, "Landman") to its cast. Benz will play Centineo's mother, Park will play a military recruitment officer, while Lofland will play an unstable mobile infantry recruit. Christopher McQuarrie directs from a script by John Malone, based on the novel by Robert E. Heinlein. 

Boys from the Forest: Writer Wyatt Allen (Mr. Happy, The Life Survey) has taken a break from Jesse Plemons-starring films to writer Boys from the Forest, a coming-of-age story set in a failing German neighborhood. Lazar Simaifar (Alleine war gestern, "King of Stonks"), David Ali Rashed (The Perfect Secret, "Tribes of Europa"), and Quang Anh Le ("Druck", "Echt") are set to lead the young cast. David Wnendt (Sun and Concrete, Wetlands) has been hired as director of the project.

Sniper: Josh Brolin (Miracles, The Void) is set to star in a remake/reboot of the Sniper film series. He will play Beckett, a black ops sniper sent to Colombia to assassinate the new president, who has been targeted by the US government. Michael Pena (American Dirt, Twisted Metal) has been cast as well as Miller, Beckett's CIA handler. Brazilian filmmaker Jose Padilha (Splinter Cell: Conviction, 7 Days in Entebbe) is set to direct the film from a script by Nic Suzuki (Monopoly, Gamera).

Lucifer: Jonny Lee Miller (The Sandman: Season of Mists, "The Crown") is set to reprise the role of Lucifer in a new fantasy/musical/dark comedy film from director Danny Boyle (Citizen, Open Hearts) and writer John Malone (Shatterhand, Murder Mysteries). Justin Theroux (Collapse, Lady Red) and Julia Butters (The Passenger, The Deadliest Night in Show Business) have also been cast in the project. Theroux will play Lucifer's angelic brother Michael, while Butters will play Michael's daughter Elaine, heir to the throne of Heaven. The film will depict Lucifer trying to save his failing Miami Beach nightclub while mentoring his niece in the ways if angelic rebellion.
