RoboCop Versus The Terminator: Patrick Wilson's RoboCop will reportedly face off against a group of Terminators from the future, with three of them being cast with Alan Ritchson (Masters of the Universe, Sunny Days), Rinko Kikuchi (Still Lives, Shogun) and Scott Adkins (Mortal Kombat II, Green Arrow) signing on. Silver Sable: Christian Berkel (Assassin's Creed: The New Order, Elle), Andreas Wisniewski (Instrument of War, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol), Conan Stevens (Vikingdom, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) and Stephanie Beatriz ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine", In the Heights) have joined the latest Marvel Universe production, Silver Sable. Berkel will play Silver Sable's uncle, Wisniewski will play a mercenary called The Major, Stevens will play a soldier under the command of Til Schweiger's character, while Beatriz will play a tech expert. Chad Taylor produces the film for writer Jimmy Ellis. Deniz Gamze Ergüven directs.
The House of Romanov: GRA-winning director Sam Mendes (The Glass Menagerie, Klondike) has signed on to direct a film about the fall of the Russian royal family, the Romanovs. Hot off his acclaimed performance in Open Hearts, Alexander Skarsgard (Open Hearts, Justice League Dark) has signed on to star as Russian Tsar Nicholas Romanov II, with Rebecca Ferguson (X-Men: The Cure, Lady Red) starring alongside him as his wife, Alexandra. Their children will be played by Sophie Turner (Halo 6, Genetic Descent), Emma Mackey (Death on the Nile, "Sex Education"), Josephine Langford (Gracie, The Birds), Angourie Rice (Blind Faith, Nobody) and Jackson Robert Scott (Open Hearts, Escape the Unknown). The film is the first collaboration between writers Ben Collins (The Betrothed, House Without End) and John Malone (Black Hole, Supergirl).
Final End: Liam Neeson (Winter's Displeasure, The Past Before) has signed on to star in the drama Final End from director Taylor Sheridan (Rodeo, Urban Cowboy) and writer Rachel Hallett Hardcastle (Still Lives, All the Pretty Horses). He will play an old rancher who believes he has won a sweepstakes. Also joining the project at this time will be Timothy Olyphant (Maledicta, The Hulk) and Jack Quaid (Care of Death, Run For Your Life). Olyphant will play a sheriff, while Quaid will play his deputy.
Camp Manhood: Jacob Tremblay (An Eye For An Eye, One More Day) and Alex Hibbert (Hillside, "The Chi") are set to appear in the film Camp Manhood. They will play a pair of teenagers in the film which is set at a summer camp. Luca Guadagnino (Blue is the Warmest Color, Ghost Stories) is set as director. The script is the fifth from writer Wyatt Allen (Batman Beyond, Whaling), now a steady presence since his Season 19 debut.
