Spider-Man: Requiem: A few more returnees are set for the third Spider-Man film in LRF with Ansel Elgort (Spider-Man, Buried Child) back as Harry Osborn, Sissy Spacek (Spider-Man, Halo 4) back as Aunt May and Kiefer Sutherland (Spider-Man vs The Sinister Six, The Crow: Wings of Isaiah) back as NYPD Captain George Stacy. Javier Bardem (L.A. Rex, The Wolfman), who was announced as part of the film at the LRF Comic-Con, has also been seen on the set as Dr. Otto Octavius. Damien Chazelle is once again directing the Marvel Universe production from a script by D.R. Cobb and Chad Taylor.

Kill Zone: The Chris Pratt-led war film, Kill Zone, has added Freddie Stroma ("Peacemaker", The Giver of Stars) and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Sam, The Hit Maker) to the cast. They will play members of a US Marines unit are come under a heavy ambush. Zack Snyder directs the true story film. Jimmy Ellis and John Malone penned the script.

Boy's Life: Julian Hilliard (Harvard Psychology, Amityville), Josh Hartnett (Wonder Woman: Labyrinth, Broadway), Annabelle Wallis (Rock Paper Scissors, Star Trek: Enterprise) and Dane DeHaan (The Mars Room, Life of a Champion) have been cast in a big screen adaptation of Robert McCammon's novel Boy's Life, a coming-of-age mystery novel set in 1964 Alabama that mixes in a bit of the supernatural. Hilliard and Hartnett will play a boy and his father who stumble upon a dead body. Wallis will play the mother, while DeHaan will play the eccentric and suspicious son of a wealthy family in town. Benh Zeitlin (Beasts of the Southern Wild, Wendy) has been tapped to direct the film as his LRF debut, while Eden Townsend (One By One, The Terminal Spy) wrote the adaptation.

Amnesiac: Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Broadway, Stepford) and Michael Shannon (Murder Mysteries, Obsession) have been cast as the two leads in Amnesiac, an original superhero film from writer Jack Ryder (Bravo/Samurai, The ComeBack). Gordon-Levitt will play a masked vigilante who suffers from amnesia, while Shannon will play his mysterious neighbor who finds himself investigating the crimes going on in the city. Drew Goddard (Bad Times at the El Royale, The Cabin in the Woods) has been hired to direct the film, which hopes to be the beginning of a new franchise for the studio.

Slowly Dying: Director Alexander Payne (The Holdovers, Downsizing) is finally set to make his LRF debut with Slowly Dying. In the film, Paul Giamatti (The Beat Goes On, Whaling) will play a New York professor and author who is fired from his teaching position following a politically-themed public outburst. He is soon offered a guest position on a California-based potlicial talk show, but is afraid to fly and does not have a driver's license so he sets off on a cross-country road trip to appear on the show. Rachel Sennott (Bottoms, Time Out!) and Shailene Woodley (Vampire, The Producer) will also appear in the film. Sennott will play a student Giamatti hires to drive him, while Woodley will play a host on the show. Alex Conn (The Actors, The Hippie Preacher) penned the script.

The Ninth Hour: Another novel adaptation is due out in early Season 30, with an adaptation of Alice McDermott's novel, The Ninth Hour, on the way. The story depicts a widowed woman who is taken in by the local Catholic church in early 20th century Brooklyn, New York. Elisabeth Moss (Sleeping Beauties, Plastic Man 2: Electric Boogaloo) will play the widow, while Mackenzie Foy (The Nest, Kiss Me Katie) and Nicole Kidman (The Phantom of the Opera, The Virgin Suicides) have signed on to play a couple of the several nun characters in the film. Reed Morano (Batgirl, The Brilliant Friend) has been hired to direct the film, which has been adapted by Rosie JoLove (My Sister, The Girls).
