The Crow: Yomi: The latest film in LRF's The Crow series has added Masaki Okada (Cube, Drive My Car) and Tak Sakaguchi (Re:Born, Prisoners of the Ghostland), both in villainous roles. Emma Appleton (The Last Letter from Your Lover, "The Killing Kind"), meanwhile, has also joined the film has the sister of the main character. Takashi Miike directs the comic series adaptation from a script by Jack Brown.

Police Story: Retribution: Michelle Monaghan (The Void, Police Story: Case Closed) and Sigourney Weaver (Odette, Police Story: Case Closed) are set to reprise the roles the roles they originated in Police Story: Case Closed, Special Agents Scarlet Fisher and Barbara Smith, respectively, in the latest sequel. Donnie Yen (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, B.R.I.G.A.N.D.S.) has also joined the project in an undisclosed role. Mathieu Kassovitz has taken over to direct this entry, which still hails from producer Patrick Hughes and writer Meirad Tako.

Coriolanus: The latest Shakespeare adaptation from writer Jimmy Ellis is starting to fill out its supporting cast with the additions of Barry Keoghan (The Ballad of Dwight Frye, Wolfenstein) as Brutus, Rose Leslie (Task Force X: Jungleland, The Arrival) as Virgilia, and David Morrissey (Thorne, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse) Cominius. David Lowery is set to direct the project.

Offside: The Damson Idris-led soccer drama has completed its casting process as Diego Luna (American Dirt, The Lone Gunman), Morena Baccarin (Robopocalypse, Resident Evil 5), and Mackenyu (Hiroshima, Tamahagane) have all joined the project. Luna will play a soccer coach, Baccarin will play a player agent, while Mackenyu will play a teammate of Idris. Danny Cannon directs from an original script by Wyatt Allen.

Ruby Ridge: Eric Bana (Superman: Exile, Pompeii) and Hilary Swank (Runaway, D.I.C.K.) are set to headline Ruby Ridge, a film chronicling the true story of the Ruby Ridge standoff - an 11 day siege by federal agents on a family's remote Idaho cabin. Bana and Swank will play Gary and Vicki Weaver, respectively, while Julia Butters (Lucifer, The Passenger), Walker Scobell (Duke Nukem, Caesar Part III), and Gabriella Sengos (Patient Zero, Escape) will play their children in the film. Kathryn Bigelow (Mr. Big, Wonder Woman: Labyrinth) is directing the true story based on a script by the duo of Lon Charles (Splendour, Escape) and Dwight Gallo (The Vintner, The Lone Ranger) who are teaming up for the first time.

Superman: Doomsday: A new Superman film is on the way with Aidan Turner (Justice League War, Judas Iscariot) back as the title character, Dakota Johnson (Superman: Exile, The Champ) back again as Lois Lane, and Daniel Craig (The Deadliest Night in Show Business, Superman: Exile) returning as Lex Luthor. Halle Berry (The Union, Joker vs. Deadshot) will also appear in the film, playing her recurring DC Comics Universe role of Amanda Waller. In this fourth Superman film from director Jeff Nichols (Superman: Exile, Judas Iscariot) and writer John Malone (Lucifer, Starship Troopers), Superman will have to face the challenge of fighting the monstrous lab-created alien, Doomsday - who was designed for one simple purpose: to kill Superman.
