Boyd Holbrook didn't go long until his second film, which was also released in Season 1 - the remake of the classic monster film, Creature from the Black Lagoon. Holbrook had a big role as the male lead opposite Scarlett Johansson in the project. The film was a massive success at the box office, grossing over $600 million worldwide.

Boyd Holbrook was back in Season 2 with a smaller role in the Leonardo DiCaprio-led Blackwater. Holbrook played a menacing meth dealer in the project. It was another box office success, grossing over $150 million despite its dark subject matter. The film was also nominated for Best Picture.

Death in the Shadows

Holbrook sat out of LRF for many seasons before finally returning to LRF screens as part of the ensemble cast of Death in the Shadows. The film was another box office success even with its mixed reviews.
