Reaction: Definitely not the numbers we were looking for. If you look at the studio's dark comedy output, now out of the five dark comedies released by LRF, only one (Nevada, Iowa) has made a profit. So while it is disappointing, we can't say we're especially surprised based on our previous output.
"Tom Ford's latest film has a surprising sense of humor that plays to the strength of his talented ensemble cast, including rare lead roles for Adrien Brody and Michael Stuhlbarg." - Geoff Bray, Slant Magazine
"Someone Else definitely meanders a bit too much in the middle sections, but it is full of funny character moments, making it worth sitting through those lesser stretches." - Charles Triano, Los Angeles Times
"Someone Else certainly isn't an absolutely terrible film. But it isn't as funny or as poignant as I believe the filmmakers thought it was." - Michael Van Patten, Slant Magazine
Rated R for language, sexual content and nudity.
