Reaction: While Atlantis: Bloodline is still obviously a financial success, Box Office and Profits are all down across the board for this sequel. While that isn't something the studio is panicking over, it is at least a slight concern.
"I didn't connect with the second Atlantis movie because I didn't like the first. The first movie set the tone for the world and characters that the sequel builds upon and expanded. That being said, the second movie has some good performances and a solid script, so it's worth watching if you're a fan of the genre." - Luna Mahomes, St. Louis Post-Dispatch
"Atlantis: Bloodline pretty much has all the same problems as the first film - too many subplots, too much focus on all of the underwater politics, and not nearly enough action. I was hoping these issues would have been addressed for this sequel, but it felt like more of the same to me." - Gregory Fletcher, Los Angeles News-Tribune
"If you can keep track of the various relationships and political alliances, then you should enjoy Atlantis: Bloodline. It's not your typical superhero fare, with the filmmakers clearly enjoying the Atlantis setting, taking on more of an underwater soap opera style. In the cast, Harris Dickinson continues to show he was a good choice as Arthur (although I am starting to want to see him eventually become Aquaman), but this film made me less sold on Timothee Chalamet on Orm." - Michael Van Patten, Slant Magazine
Rated PG-13 for fantasy violence and thematic material
