Reaction: Iron Man's entry into the LRF Marvel Universe has become the first big hit of Season 26. There are three more Marvel releases set for this season, so hopefully there will be more hits to come.

"Jack Huston hopefully finally has his breakout role here as Tony Stark / Iron Man. He plays the role well and even outshines his bigger-name co-stars, such as Denzel Washington (who honestly really doesn't feel like a great fit as Nick Fury). Not all of the action works, and some scenes feel over-written, but there is a lot more good than bad in Iron Man's LRF debut." - Dave Manning, Ridgefield Press

"By the end of The Invincible Iron Man, I felt like there was one or two too many ideas thrown out during its running time. It wasn't a disaster, but between the Uranian, Crimson Dynamo and the Mandarin, there was a lot going on in the villain department that in what felt like an over-involved plot at times. When the film focused on Tony and his relationships with those in his life, the film worked nicely, but when it drifted away from him the film struggled." - Lois Reeves, Dodge City Daily Globe

"I believe this is as good an Iron Man one could get that distances itself from the MCU incarnation. I found Jack Huston good in the role of Tony Stark, however the stealer of this film would have to be Jung Hyun-jun as The Boy, every scene he is in I feel is the best scenes in the film. I found the film exciting enough, with enough dramatic elements that kept me invested in both plot and characters. This is a tick in my book." - J. Darrell Ellington, Behind the Camera

Rated PG-13 for action violence and thematic material
