Last Resort Films is thrilled to announce the appointment of Alfie Ellison as its new Vice President of International Development. In this newly created role Ellison will spearhead Last Resort’s latest drive in acquiring the world's best talent. His job will consist of finding some IP to adapt here at the studio as well as meeting with creative teams in order to develop original scripts. He will be releasing 5 films, 4 of existing IP, whether it be books, plays, foreign films or games, and there will be 1 original film idea.
Writers will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas for each announcement to Ellison himself. Ellison is stated to act as the go between, between our writers here at LRF and the actors/directors attached to the projects already.
This will be replacing the already established Writers’ Assignment Packages and aims to make them more immersive and generate a little more hype for each film announced. In some cases Ellison may have been given specific points of the plot that the talent attached want incorporated.
