Watchmen: Jim Jarmusch's curious Watchmen adaptation is rounding out its cast with Allison Janney (Anarchy, Bad Dreams Come True) as Silk Spectre and Dominic Sessa (Anarchy, Ecstasy) as an original character not found in the comics, respectively. Alex Conn penned the script based the DC Comics series.

Falling on the Cross: French actress Anais Demoustier (Along Came Love) has joined the film as the stage wife of one of the wrestlers in the upcoming wrestling drama Falling on the Cross from director Stephen Merchant and writer Jacob Jones. WWE and NXT professional wrestlers Oba Femi, Joaquin Wilde, and Asuka have also all set for acting roles in the project. 

The Ghost Connection: Gerard Butler and Jeremy Irons have a slightly bigger supporting cast this time around for The Ghost Connection, a sequel to Season 17's The Smoke in the Red Country. Adria Arjona (The Mars Room, Blink Twice) and Gemma Chan (Zero Hour, Among Us) have joined the film in supporting roles while Sean Patrick Flanery (Queen Margot, The Smoke in the Red Country) is rumored to return for a cameo as his GHOST character. Tomas Alfredson directs the film from a script by Meirad Tako.

Cedar Ridge: Spencer Treat Clark (The Night Swim, Glass), Abigail Breslin (Drugstore Perfume, Dino Crisis 2), and Josh Hamilton (Maestro, Reality) have all joined the drama Cedar Ridge, headlined by stars Lucas Hedges and Hailee Steinfeld. Clark will play Hailee Steinfeld's husband, Breslin will play Steinfeld's sister (both playing cousins to Hedges' character), while Hamilton will play Breslin's husband. Derek Cianfrance is behind the camera for this one, while Joshua Collins penned the script.

Before Love Came to Kill Us: Ana de Armas (Man Made Machine, Spider-Man vs The Sinister Six) and Michael B. Jordan (Victims, Detroit: Become Human) are set to star in a new gritty crime-romance film from director Barry Jenkins (Ghost Town, Hillside) and writer Dawson Edwards (Metroid), marking his second film for the studio. De Armas and Jordan will play a couple that meet and she ends up involved in a heist he is planning.

Starship Troopers: Noah Centineo (Flames, Corndog) has been tapped to star in a new film adaptation of the novel Starship Troopers by Robert E. Heinlein. He is playing Johnnie Rico, a young man who journeys from boot camp to the battlefield in a futuristic war against bug armies in space. Bobby Cannavale (Tara's Web, Sinatra) and Terry Crews (Ocean Pawn, Gears of War 2) have also signed on to the film as Johnnie's father and Johnnie's first drill instructor, respectively. John Malone (Shatterhand, Murder Mysteries) has penned the new adaptation, which is being helmed by director Christopher McQuarrie (Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning).
