Plot: The Kingdom Of Karitha is a quite big kingdom near the black sea. The kingdom was built by a powerful woman named Daneen Bint Ayshah. She ruled the kingdom with 'cold hand' and she was quite loved by her people. But on her older day The Greek colonist came and invade the kingdom, imprison her and force her (too young) son to rule the kingdom but the greek is the real ruler cause her son had to follow them.
But, when her son's son Malik Ibrahim (Ali Suliman) take over the throne. He succesfuly kick the Greek out of the kingdom. The kingdom got their freedom for nearly 30 years, but again. When the king is sick, the Greek is back and threatening him to kill all of his people if he don't sign a proposal to give the crown to the Greek colonist leader named Hamzah Ibn Abu Salih (Khaled Nabawy). They give him a full one month to think.
Not accept about it. He call his number one person in the kingdom, Abdul Wahab (Amr Waked). And ask him to search the best warrior who can destroy the whole colony of Greek but with no prize. Abdul accept the task and he ride a horse all over the middle east to find it even when he entered Mecca and met the ruler that is a Caliphs, Umar Ibn Al-Khatab. He still cannot find anyone that willing or able to destroy the whole colony alone and with no grand prize.
He went back with empty hand, his 'Go-And-Back' journey alone take 15 days, it really make the king's condition worse. He really thinks to sign that proposal until a mysterious man enter the castle wearing a grey clothes with white robe enter the castle and offer himself to the king.
He told the kings that his name is Altair Ibn Abdullah (Rami Malek) and he is willing to destroy the colony alone with one condition that he must choose one of king's ladies to accompany him as ... Well a lady.
The king agree with the condition and give him his very trusted lady, Tiana (Zoe Saldana) to accompany him in his journey. He also given a horse that named Huriya.
Tiana always want to have a great journey and see the wide world with her own eyes, but she can't because her mother was a lady in the palace so willy-nilly she had to become a lady as well. Given the opportunity to go with Altair is a great chance for her.
On the journey Altair is such a gentle guy. He let Tiana to ride Huriya because they only have one horse and he is not too comfortable to ride with a woman.
The wind was blew really hard and force them to build a tend. In the tend Tiana ask Altair about himself. Altair tell her that his father was Abdullah Ibn Tawaf a general that lead the army to ambush to colony and went K.I.A. he killed by the leader of the colony Hamzah. Revenge and hatred lies in his heart and killing Hamzah is his goal.
After the wind problem is end they continue the journey. In the middle way, they were ambush by a group of bandit. Altair know the leader of the bandit so he just open his mask and the leader of the bandit approached him friendly and friendly-hugged him.
The leader is Ahmad Al-Imran (Ghassan Massoud). He was Altair's father's number one man in military, so he was quite close with Altair. He brought them to their tend in the shore of black sea. There they were served nicely by Ahmad's wife Fatimah (Jenna Dewan). She is also a number 1 female military, she slaughtered 200 men in war between Karitha and The Greek.
Altair told them about their purpose in the journey. Ahmad and his wife is shocked (very shocked) but they support them and follow them to the colony.
Now they have 50 people in their journey. In the night, they wear a black suit to make them camouflage in the darkness.
They arrived near a cave where the colony lived. Altair go while the other wait for the sign to ambush the cave.
Altair killed the two guard on the mouth of the cave. He smoothly enter the (well-constructed) cave. Its just like a town inside a cave. He take a wrong step and 400 soldiers and lead by Hamzah surround him with no chance to win at all. So with his some kind of pray he take out his sword.
He slaughtered 200 people but badly Injured. Meanwhile, his soldier found he is too long to give a sign and decide to attack. Altair's neck is already pointed by the sword of Hamzah before finally released by him because the attack of Altair's soldier.
Altair himself take the surprise to cut down the head of Hamzah and after his army kill the rest of them and free 45 slaves they explode the whole cave.
Even though the glory had been taken by them, Altair's life is already taken by god. Tiana went back to the palace and meet the King and told him that the Greek is already destroyed and hopefully wont back in one or two decade or even more.
The king's condition become better because of this. He can continue to rule the kingdom for 20 more years and died at the age of 105. Because he had no any wife, long ago before he died even before the Great Journey of Altair he already pointed Tiana to re-place him. Tiana now become the queen at the age of 37, she didn't forget about ber fellows in battle and gave them the place in their older day.
