In Development

The Phantom of the Opera: Rounding out the cast of Tim Burton's adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera will be "Family Guy" creator-turned-actor Seth MacFarlane (A Million Ways to Die in the West, "The Orville"), musical star Adam Pascal (Punk's Dead, Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival), Naomi Scott (Numero Uno, Aladdin), the legendary singer Tom Jones. Jacob Jones penned the film.

Crimson: The upcoming Margot Robbie-led spy thiller is also rounding out its cast with the additions of Luis Guzman (Walker, The Raid), Tom Hopper ("Showtime", "The Umbrella Academy") and Olive Elise Abercrombie ("The Haunting of Hill House"). Guzman will play a shady black market dealer, Hopper will play a trained killer, while Abercrombie will play the child version of Margot Robbie's character. Anton Corbijn directs from a script by John Malone.

Circumstances of Time: A trio of actresses have signed on to join Steven Spielberg's Circumstances of Time. Alison Brie (Alex + Adam, Riot Love), Connie Nielsen (Red Planet, Wonder Woman) and Kathryn Newton (Aliens vs. Predator: The First Hunt, Prey) will each play supporting roles in the film. Brie will play Andrew Garfield's love interest, Nielsen will play Steve Carell's wife, while Newton will play the daughter of Carell and Nielsen. Giovanni Garcia wrote the original screenplay.

Hawkworld: The upcoming blockbuster sequel to Hawkman has added the likes of Sam Rockwell (The Raven, Nevada, Iowa), Joseph Sikora (Jack Reacher, "Power") and Gil Birmingham (Radisson, "Nez Perce") to its cast. Rockwell will play Ray Palmer, who becomes the superhero The Atom in the comics. Sikora will play Ed Dawson, a scientist who becomes the monstrous Lion-Mane due to meteor exposure. Birmingham, meanwhile, will play Byth Rok, the leader of the police force - on the planet of Thanagar. Julius Avery directs the film from a script by APJ.

Visions: Samara Weaving (Y: The Last Man, The Reign of Lady Morgana), Katheryn Winnick (Carmilla, Masters of the Universe), Alyvia Alyn Lind (Maximum Ride, "Daybreak"), and Zazie Beetz (To the Moon, Joker) have all signed on to supporting roles in the supernatural thriller Visions, starring Elisabeth Moss and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Ben Wheatley makes his LRF debut as director on the film based on a script by Jack Slipter.

To The Max: The dark crime comedy - which is based on a true story - has added Tony Revolori (The Long Dumb Road, Spider-Man: Far From Home), Jack Kilmer (Lords of Chaos, Summer '03) and Eliza Scanlen ("Sharp Objects", Little Women) to its cast. Revolori and Kilmer will play the best friends of the main character, played by Noah Centineo. Scanlen will play a girl Centineo has his sights on. Matt Spicer directs from a script by Lon Charles and Chad Taylor.
