Reaction: Very strong numbers for the debut film of Season 15. While the numbers are a far cry from those of Justice League International in Season 10, the studio still considers it a massive success considering it nearly doubled the box office gross of most of the film it is a follow-up to. We have to imagine the "Justice League" branding and the film's global scale had to help at the box office.
"The ending feels a bit too hokey and anti-climactic. That is just one of a handful of moments in the film that will potentially take the audience out of the film. I certainly think there's a big audience for the film, but I appear to not be part of it." - Mark Rawls, Seattle Times
"Some characters (Rocket Red, Captain Atom, Metamorpho) work much better in the film than others (Blue Jay, Silver Sorceress, Power Girl, Crimson Fox) and the villains leave something to be desired, but the film is an action spectacle on a grand scale. JJ Abrams delivers on the action, with the film taking the heroes all over the world in an epic fashion." - Clark Davis, JoBlo.com
"Justice League International isn't quite as clean as some of the other LRF DC team-up films, but that doesn't hinder its impact too much. It is a very flawed film, but it is still highly entertaining." - Tony Klesko, San Diego Union-Tribune
Rated PG-13 for frenetic action violence and scenes of peril
