The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 15 Round 1)

Welcome to Season 15 and the the season's first edition of The Roundup....

3. Emile Hirsch
I wasn't a big fan of the film The Second Life of John Wilkes Booth, and I don't even feel that Hirsch was necessarily right for the role of Booth, but I do like seeing an actor like Hirsch getting lead roles for the studio.

2. Police Story: Extradition

The first film was just okay, but this sequel really upped the game in pretty much every possible category. The action was bigger and better, and the characters all had their own angles in the story.

1. Justice League Europe

While I'm not the biggest fan of some of the characters in the film, I can't deny how good the action is in this team-up film.

3. Box Office
It tends to be a nice fall-back to complain about the box office. While the box office was boosted by the strong performance of Justice League Europe, The Second Life of John Wilkes Booth did not do well and cancelled out the surprise success of Police Story: Extradition.

2. Colin Farrell

I sure hope he was paid a pretty penny for this one, because he really is not given much to do. His character doesn't really have a arc.

1. The Second Life of John Wilkes Booth

It's not a terrible film, but it feels far too cold and traditional for a Tarantino film. That's the opposite of what anyone should expect from a Tarantino film.
