Boy's Life: Christoph Waltz (The Past Before, Bunker 17), Noel Fisher (The Producer, Superman: Exile), Harry Melling (Gas Bar Blues, The Pale Blue Eye) and Hayden Christensen ("Obi-Wan Kenobi", Little Italy) have rounded out the cast of Boy's Life, a film based on the novel by Robert McCammonn, set in 1960s Alabama. Waltz will play a wealthy veterinarian, Fisher and Melling will play the grown children of a local criminal, while Christensen will play the grown up version of the main character (played by Julian Hilliard as a child). Benh Zeitlin directs the film from an adaptation by Eden Townsend.

Amnesiac: Thomas Jane (El Dorado, The Hazel Wood), Sung Kang (The Hammer of Thor, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Nest, Splinter Cell: Blacklist) have joined the original superhero project, Amnesiac, from writer Jack Ryder. Jane will play a criminal, Kang will play a detective, while JDM's role is undisclosed at this time. Drew Goddard is directing the film.

The Ninth Hour: Another novel adaptation will be on the way early in Season 30 with The Ninth Hour, an adaptation of a novel from Alice Dermott. Greg Kinnear (How to Survive in Hell, Doctor Love), Chris Geere (Hawkworld, Detective Pikachu), Joan Allen (Control, Moon Knight) and Colin Hanks (Gigantor, Sweet Tooth) will round out its ensemble cast. Reed Morano directs from an adaptation by Rosie JoLove.

Fractus: After a couple of supporting roles in Season 29, Aldis Hodge (My Sister, The Champ) has snagged his first leading role for LRF. He has been cast in the lead role in wrestling drama Fractus. Hodge will play a wrestler struggling to claw his way to the top of his profession. Joining Hodge will be Brian Tyree Henry (Drawing Dion, Unknown) as his supportive brother. Shaka King (Judas and the Black Messiah) has been hired to direct the film. The story was written by Mo Buck (Gas Bar Blues, Tomato Can) and Jimmy Ellis (The Final Will, Thorne).

Wonder Bean: Jeremy Allen White (Five Boroughs, The Tomb of Dracula) hopefully continues his ascent to the A-List by scoring the leading role in Wonder Bean, a big-budget dystopian sci-fi project from director Robert Zemeckis (The Witches, Allied), finally making his LRF directorial debut. Joining JAW will be Florence Pugh (Beasts, Run For Your Life) as the voice of a small robot, or Wonder Bean, who accompanies White on a journey. The script was penned by Sammy-Jo Ellis (The Lights, Last Days of the American Cowboy).

Red Queen: Director Niki Caro (Letters, Zatanna) has been hired to direct a big-screen adaptation of the dystopian young adult novel Red Queen from author Victoria Aveyard, which is set in a world with two types of people divided by blood: the Red who are commoners and the Silver elite who have special powers. Dafne Keen (The Pull of the Stars, Who Do You Trust When the World is at War?) has been cast in the lead role, Mare Barrow, a Red who dreams of a better life. Joining Keen will be Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers), Rose Byrne (Ghost Stories, Fractured) and Wyatt Oleff (Troll Mountain, Red Sonja: Blood + Bone). Sessa will play a prince, Oleff his younger brother, while Byrne will play their mother, the Queen. Abbie Q (The Giver of Stars, The Guest List) adapted the script. Steven Spielberg (No Promises in the Wind, Circumstances of Time) will lend his services as a producer to the project.
