Fragments of Heart: James Gray's World War I romance film has added Sarah Paulson (The Liberation of Evil, Happy Birthday), Finn Cole (The Pull of the Stars, "Peaky Blinders") and Mark Strong (The Betrothed, Resident Evil 4) to its supporting cast. Paulson will play the head nurse of a wartime hospital, Cole will play a soldier, and Strong will play an Army captain. Ben Collins has penned the film.

Magic: The David Dastmalchian-led horror film, Magic, has added Eric Christian Olsen (The Devil's Run, Daredevil), Jeanne Tripplehorn (The Hammer of Thor, "The Terminal List") and John Noble (Namor the Sub-Mariner, The Mule). Olsen will play the neglectful husband of the female lead (played by Alison Pill), Tripplehorn will play a television executive scouting the main character (Dastmalchian) and Noble will play Dastmalchian's mentor. Riley Stearns is directing the updated adaptation of William Goldman's novel, which has been penned by Jack Brown.

The Big Top: Zooey Deschanel ("Physical", Dreamin' Wild), Oliver Platt (Someone Else, Spawn 2: Payback), Johnny Knoxville (Blood on the Moon, Sweet Dreams), Chris Pontius (Jackass Forever, Action Point) and Will Patton (Starkweather, Atlantis) are set to round out the voice cast of writer Lon Charles' animated circus adventure. Deschanel will voice a pair of conjoined twins, Knoxvill will voice an abusive and villainous circus leader, Pontius will voice a strong man, and Patton will voice the President of the United States. Scott Mosier is directing the animated film.

Redhead: Timothy Olyphant (The Hulk 2, Final End), Lili Taylor (Harvard Psychology, Home Again) and Abigail Cowen (We Know Where You Live, Photographs) have joined the upcoming horror-thriller Redhead from director Scott Cooper. Olyphant will play a detective investigating a series of murders against beautiful red-haired women. Taylor will play the mother of Karen Gillan's main character, while Cowen will play a potential victim. Billy Cruder penned the project.

Brothers in Law: Matthew McConaughey (The Dogs of Winter, Blue Ridge), Jeff Bridges (Norse: Valhalla, The Case Against 8) and Danny McBride (Duke Nukem, Desert Dreams) are set to headline a dark comedy western film from director Armando Iannucci (The Death of Stalin, The Personal History of David Copperfield). McConaughey will play a sheriff and McBride his deputy, while Bridges will play an aging suspected outlaw.  The film is being produced by Chad Taylor's Hill Valley Entertainment from a script by Jimmy Ellis (The Final Will, Thorne).

Masters of the Universe: The Sword of Power: The long awaited sequel to Masters of the Universe is finally hitting production with Alan Ritchson (The Lights, The Oil Slick) set to return as Prince Adam/He-Man and Callan Mulvey (Excalibur, Masters of the Universe) returning as Skeletor. It was announced at the recent LRF Comic-Con that Samara Weaving (Vampire, Namor the Sub-Mariner: Imperius Rex) would also join the project as She-Ra. Len Wiseman (Hawkman, Total Recall) has taken over as director on the film, which is once again being written by Mark Newton (Gears of War 2, Pompeii).
