Guy on the Fly: Jade Pettyjohn (After, Tara's Web), Caleb McLaughlin (Detroit: Become Human, Sandbox) and Sean Giambrone ("The Goldbergs", Kim Possible) have completed the cast of teen rom-com Guy on the Fly for director Marc Webb and writer Jacob Jones. Giambrone will play the missing boyfriend of the main character (played by Maude Apatow), Pettyjohn will play Apatow's best friend, while McLaughlin have a smaller supporting role as a friend of the male lead (played by Dylan Sprayberry).
The Eye of History: The Kirsten Dunst-led Margaret Bourke-White biographical film has added Faran Tahir (Escape Plan, Coup!), Douglas Smith ("The Alienist", Don't Worry Darling) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Good Marriage, Home Before Dark) to its supporting cast. Jackson-Cohen will play Dunst's love interest, Smith will play Bourke-White's assistant. Tahir, meanwhile, will play Mahatma Gandhi. Marc Forster directs from a script by Andrew Doster.
Justice League War: Jake Gyllenhaal (Batman: Knightfall, Control), Aidan Turner (Superman: Exile, Judas Iscariot), Alexandra Daddario (Wonder Woman: Labyrinth, Extra Ordinary), Mahershala Ali (The Devil's Run, Justice League Invasion) and Tom Cruise (Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War, Haven) are all set to return for the second part of last season's Justice League epic, reprising their roles as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern, respectively. The film has been filmed back-to-back with last season's Justice League Invasion, with Michael Bay (Justice League Invasion, Cocaine Cowboys) still directing and a script once again by the committee of APJ (Marvin the Martian, Tarzan), D.R. Cobb (Wonder Woman: Labyrinth, Captain America), John Malone (Shatterhand, Murder Mysteries) and Chad Taylor (The House Down the Street, The Omen).
H.H.: Season 32's first film will see director David Lowery (The Crucible, Martian Manhunter) set to return to work for the studio for the first time since Season 13 with H.H., a period crime film with an otherworldly twist. George MacKay (Pompeii, Dandelion), Jack O'Connell (Baby Teeth) and Kelsey Grammer (Batman: Arkham, White Jazz) are set to star. MacKay will play a bank robber, O'Connell will play a police officer, and Grammer will play a powerful figure in the small town setting. Jimmy Ellis (At Night All Blood Is Black, Vindicators) has penned the film, loosely based on the short story "A Retrieved Reformation" by O. Henry
Monopoly: Paul Rudd (Gigantor, Extra Ordinary) is set to star in a big screen adaptation of the classic board game, Monopoly. He will play a conman planning a real estate scam in a world that seems to operate based on the rules of the board game. Aubrey Plaza (Justice League Dark, Alien: Out of the Shadows) will join Rudd as the female lead, a mysterious woman who seems to know more than she lets on. Max Barbakow (Palm Springs, Brothers) is set to make his LR debut as director of the film. Nic Suzuki (Gamera) penned the film.
Bigfoot: Writer Clive Steinbeck (Jersey Devil, Wishmaster) is returning to the studio for the first time since Season 10 with a new horror film, Bigfoot. Steve Zahn (Desert Dreams, The Monster Squad), David Denman (Ghost Rider: Damnation, Queen Margot) and Bella Thorne (Eye of the Scarecrow, Happy Birthday) will star in the film about a town under a dangerous threat from a murderous Bigfoot. Zahn will play a man who blames Bigfoot for the death of his family years earlier. Denman will play Zahn's younger brother, who happens to be the town sheriff. Thorne, meanwhile, will play a young woman who survives a Bigfoot attack. Rob Zombie (The Munsters, ID) is set to direct the violent horror story.
