Patient Zero: Rounding out the supporting cast of S. Craig Zahler's zombie thriller, Patient Zero, will be Isaiah Washington (The Raid, Namor the Sub-Mariner) as a military commander and Gabriella Sengos (Escape, Willamette) as a young girl caught in the outbreak. Matt Parker penned the script.

Fading Nights: Also completing its casting process is the urban crime drama Fading Nights with the additions of Joe Cole (Blue Ridge, The Night Swim) and Rupert Friend (Becoming Carole Lombard, Buried Memories). Ryan Coogler is directing the film from a script by Jimmy Ellis.

War of the Currents: The period piece revolving around the rivalry between Tesla and Edison has added some star power with Michael Keaton (Death of a Comic, The Past Before) signing on to play Thomas Edison and Forest Whitaker (The Youngest Hart, Shake Hands with the Devil) signing on to play Lewis Howard Latimer. The film is being directed by French filmmaker Michel Gondry. Meirad Tako has penned the film based on an interactive game called Tesla: War of the Currents.

The Brothers Kendrick: The Brothers Kendrick has added Rhys Ifans (Thorne, Kingmaker Chronicles) and Sophie Turner (Flames, The House of Romanov) to its cast in its story loosely based on the downfall of the band Oasis. Ifans will play the band manager, while Turner will play the love interest of Tom Holland's character. David Mackenzie directs the film, which has been written by Joshua Collins.

Joker vs. Deadshot: Caleb Landry Jones (The Dogs of Winter, Batman: Knightfall) and Walton Goggins (The ComeBack, The Final Will) are set as the title characters in a new DC Comics Universe production - Joker vs. Deadshot. Goggins was announced at the latest Comic-Con to be playing the role of Deadshot, while Jones returns once again as the Clown Prince of Crime. In the film, Deadshot has been hired by the mob to kill the Joker, but as often happens, they are forced to reluctantly join forces. Actor Danny McBride (Brothers in Law, Duke Nukem) will play a supporting role in addition to handling the directing duties - his feature film directorial debut, although he has directed several episodes of his award-winning television series "The Righteous Gemstones" and "Vice Principals".

Sexual Paradise: Zendaya (The Beat Goes On, Artemis), Alex Wolff (Once Upon a Time in Greenwich Village, The Culture) and Victoria Pedretti (Songbird, Tara's World) will lead the young cast of the latest film from director Wes Anderson (The Scam of Success, The Driftwood Populace). Wolff will play a young man who recently graduated college without losing his virginity. Pedretti will play a model who draws unwanted attention from Wolff, while Zendaya will play a writer caught in the crossfire. The film was written by Jacob Jones (Guy on the Fly, An Irish Rendezvous).
