The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 32 Round 6)

In Round 6 of Season 32, a couple box office duds cut into the profits earned by the Marvel Universe. Here's The Roundup....

3. Marvel Universe
The early years of the studio's Marvel Universe wasn't very cohesive, but I have to appreciate how the studio has slowly built up two sides of the universe - we have the Avengers vs. Galactus side and we now have the horror side of the universe.

2. Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch does a really good job of building off what the first film started while also upping the scale and making it feel like a bigger part of the ever-expanding LRF Marvel Universe.

1. The Vintner
Wow! The Vintner is easily one of my favorite LRF productions. What director Pablo Larrain and writer Dwight Gallo accomplished with this tense suspense story is beyond impressing. At first I thought it was going to be kind of a stuffy period piece, but it quickly became nail-biting in how the story amps of the tension.

3. N/A

2. Sins of the Father
I didn't hate Sins of the Father, but I couldn't help but feel that it didn't do enough with its characters, playing things too close to genre conventions and stereotypes.

1. Box Office
Things had been looking up, but this round was a bit rough at the box office, even with the success of Scarlet Witch. We only have a couple obvious blockbusters lined up over the final four rounds of Season 32, so things could get a little dicey.
