Saga: The animated adaptation of the acclaimed comic series Saga has added the voice talents of Luke Evans (The Creature: The Beginning, Cat People), Michelle Yeoh (The Hazel Wood, The Grind), Donnie Yen (Mortal Kombat, Eclipse), Keegan-Michael Key (The Predator, "Friends from College"), Ben Hardy (Stan, Bohemian Rhapsody) and Danai Gurira ("The Walking Dead", Black Panther). Andy Serkis is directing the film from a script written by newcomer Wesley Campbell.

Letter to Myself: Mo Buck's autobiographical film has hired Quinn Lord ("The Man in the High Castle", In Their Skin), Charlie Tahan ("Ozark", "Castle Rock"), Joey King (Tenth Circle, Nobody) and Ed Harris (The Carpet Makers, White Tiger) for supporting roles in the film. Lord will play James, while Tahan will play Harry. King will play the sister of the main character, and Harris will play the main character's psychologist. Mo Buck wrote the script and is making his directorial debut on the project.

Stray Dogs: Jim Sturgess (Femme Fatale, London Fields), Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy, "Kingdom"), Gary Cole (Heavy Rain, "Fam"), Michael Rapaport (Siren, "Atypical") and Camilla Belle (Dracula Origins, Diablo) will round out the cast of the upcoming western from director Robert Rodriguez and writer Ben Collins.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Following the success of Grand Theft Auto and its sequel Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, a third film is on the way. This time the films will be an adaptation of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Michael B. Jordan (High Society, Bonnie and Clyde), Brian Tyree Henry ("Atlanta", Ghost Town), Jamal Woolard (All Eyez on Me, Barbershop: The Next Cut) and Jason Mitchell (Kong: Skull Island, Mudbound) will star in the 1990s set gangland film. Jordan will play the lead character Carl "CJ" Johnson. Henry will play Jordan's brother, while Woolard and Mitchell will play members of the Grove Street gang. Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Dishonest) will direct the film from a script by Harry Wright (Lucky Luke and Billy the Kid, Maple Leaf).

Hands on a Hard Body: Hot off the success of Ghost Town, Chad Taylor (Ghost Town, Maximum Max) has penned a film based on the documentary of the same name that documents a yearly competition pits twenty-four contestants against each other to see who can keep their hand on a pickup truck for the longest amount of time. Brad Pitt (Shōgun, White Jazz), Matthew McConaughey (Stained, Bad Education), Brie Larson (Uncharted 2, Heart of Stone) and Jack Black (The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Goosebumps) will star in the ensemble film. Pitt will play a former winner of the contest who enters to regain the glory of victory. McConaughey will play the owner of the small-town Texas Nissan car dealership that sponsors the event. Larson will play an ambitious waitress determined to win the contest. Black, meanwhile, will play a local radio personality who hosts the contest. In addition to his acting role in the film, McConaughey will also be serving as a producer on the project. Richard Linklater (Eleanor & Park, Everybody Wants Some!!) is set to direct the film.

Blackbird:
For his latest film, writer Seth Overton (To the Moon, Mass Effect: The Shadow Broker) has written an adaptation of a short story by Junji Ito. Jake Gyllenhaal (Batman: Caped Crusader, Heavy Rain) will star in the project as a birdwatcher who gets entangled in a mystery after he finds an injured man in the forest. Rami Malek (The Story of the Assassin, Maximum Max) will play the injured man he finds. Tilda Swinton (Suspiria, Okja) will play a mysterious otherworldly woman. Chan-wook Park (Sisters, Hunt) will direct the film.
