How to Survive in Hell: Greg Kinnear (Doctor Love, Libra) and Joonas Suotamo (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) will round out the cast of How to Survive in Hell, the new film from director Shane Black and writer Dominic Wilkins.
Hunter: Another film rounding out its cast is the sci-fi thriller, Hunter, from director Jaume-Collet Serra and writer Mark Newton. Karl Urban (V, Skyrim), Allison Tolman (Bad Education, Stained), Lynn Collins ("Manhunt: The Unabomber, Beaneath Us), Robert Patrick (XIII, Silver Surfer) and Kevin Durand (Skin Tight, Peter and the Starcatchers) have all joined the film as it has begun filming.
Time Passages: Pierce Brosnan (The Foreigner, The Only Living Boy in New York) has signed on to make his LRF debut in the upcoming musical from director Rob Marshall and writer Jacob Jones. He will play a teacher at the high school that makes up much of the setting of the film.
Swamp Thing: Ian McShane (Kingmaker Chronicles, The Queen of the Night) and Damian Lewis (Black Dublin, The Queen of the Night) have both joined the upcoming DC Comics Universe film, Swamp Thing. McShane will play the villainous Dr. Anton Arcane, while Lewis will play a scientist in his employ. Jordan Vogt-Roberts directs from a script by APJ.
But What Am I?: The first film of Season 13 will officially be the peculiar (partially) biographical film, But What Am I? The film will tell the story of Paul Reubens aka Pee-Wee Herman. Paul Dano (Maria, "Escape at Dannemora) has signed on to play the role of Reubens/Herman. He will be joined by Rooney Mara(Survivor, Sinkhole) as the female lead. Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, "Kidding") has signed on to direct the film from a script by Chad Taylor (Orchid, Booster Gold: Lost in Time).
Rocket Red: The first round of Season 13 will also see another addition to the studio's DC Comics Universe in the form of Soviet hero, Rocket Red. Joel Edgerton (Nexus, Ranger) will headline as the titular hero, while Tim Roth (Kingmaker Chronicles, Paradiso) and Sofia Black-D'Elia (The Mummy, "The Mick") will reprise their roles as Blue Jay and Silver Sorceress, finally making more than a cameo appearance. Brad Bird (Raptor Red, The Incredibles 2) will direct the film. Writers James Morgan (Cold, The Raven) and Harry Wright (Spawn 2: Payback, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) make their DC Comics Universe debut on the project.
