Reaction: Excellent numbers for the fifth film in the main Halo series (and the eighth film overall in the franchise). The box office has steadily climbed throughout the run of the series. The profits were due lower for this film, even though the box office was higher, due to the studio sparing no expense in marketing the film to audiences (the marketing budget alone for the film was well over $100 million).
