In Development

Control: Joan Allen (Room, "The Family"), Randall Park (Long Shot, Always Be My Maybe) and John David Washington (Doctor Love, "Gauntlet") will round out the cast of the latest film from director Denis Villeneuve and star Jake Gyllenhaal. Allen will play a police psychiatrist, Park will play a crime scene technician, while Washington will play a police informant. The film was penned by Jimmy Ellis and John Malone.

Justice League Europe: More familiar faces will be back for Justice League Europe with Tim Roth (Walker, Rocket Red), Sofia Black D'Elia (The Mummy, Rocket Red) and Mandy Moore (Midway, Captain Atom 2) all reprising their roles of Blue Jay, Silver Sorceress and Catherine Cobert, respectively. JJ Abrams is directing the blockbuster from a script by Mo Buck, Dominic Wilkins and Harry Wright.

Police Story: Extradition: Zhang Ziyi (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Cloverfield Paradox), Max Irons (Red Sonja, Cold) and Hong Kong legend Sammo Hung (Call of Heroes, Paradox) have all signed on to join Police Story: Etradition. Their roles are being kept under wraps at this time. The film is directed by Wilson Yip, produced by Patrick Hughes and written by Meirad Tako.

The Second Life of John Wilkes Booth: Quentin Tarantino's upcoming historical thriller has added Lewis Pullman (Them That Foloow, Bad Times at the El Royale), Michael Madsen (The Squared Circle, The Reign of Lady Morgana), Michael Angarano (Wild Card, Sun Dogs) and Olivia Colman (Days Without End, Suzanne) to its ensemble cast. Jimmy Ellis penned the adaptation.

The Phantom of the Opera:
Tim Burton (Alternative, Accordion De Chanson) has signed on to direct a new adaptation of the musical, The Phantom of the Opera. Lily James (The Mask, Orchid), Luke Evans (The Creature: The Beginning, Cat People) and Ewan McGregor (Walker, The Secret History) have all signed on to star in the project. James has been cast as Christine, Evans as the Phantom, and McGregor as Raoul. Jacob Jones (Sunny Days, Oh Deer).

Crimson: Margot Robbie (Life After Life, Calamity) and Johnny Depp (Rasputin, The Professor) have been tasked with headlining an upcoming spy thriller from director Anton Corbijn (Flicker, A Little Life) and writer John Malone (Superman: The Man of Tomorrow, Elysian). Depp will play a former KGB assassin who spares the life of a child and raises her as his own. Robbie will play the grown-up version of that child.
