In Development

Police Story: Case Closed: James Ransone (The Rai, Triple Identity) and Armand Assante ("The Family Business, After the Storm) will round out the cast of the latest Police Story film from writer Meirad Tako. Ransone will play a terrorist while Assante will play a mafia leader. Olivier Megaton is taking over as director, with Police Story: The Return director Patrick Hughes staying on as a producer.

Chris, Travis & Juliet:
Allison Williams (Wishmaster, Horizon Line), RJ Cyler (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Drugstore Perfume) and Kristin Davis (Holiday in the Wild, Deadly Illusions) have joined the latest directorial effort from writer Alex Conn. Williams will play the Juliet of the title, the girlfriend of a charismatic indie filmmaker, played by Emile Hirsch. Cyler will play a friend of Will Poulter's character, with Davis agreeing to play Poulter's mother.

Rainbow Six: Tom Hardy' Rainbow Six squad will be joined by Jay Hernandez (Less, Missing Men), Stephan James (The Hit Maker, A Following), Julian Morris ("Hand of God", Viper Club) and Adam Beach ("Nez Perce", Alien: Out of the Shadows). They will play members of the title military unit. Peter Berg is directing from a script by Mark Newton, based on the Tom Clancy novel of the same name.

Hillside:
GRA-winning director Barry Jenkins (Ghost Town, If Beale Street Could Talk) is set to return to LRF for the first time since Season 10's Best Picture winner Ghost Town. HE has signed on to direct the urban coming-of-age drama, Hillside, from a script by Jimmy Ellis (Task Force X, Drawing Dion). Alex Hibbert ("The Chi", Moonlight) and Ben Foster (Fractured, Task Force X) have also signed on to appear in the film. Hibbert will play a teenager living in a gang and crime-infested neighborhood, while Foster will play a police officer who crosses paths with the young man.

Still Lives:
Jennifer Lawrence (Recursion, The Killings) has signed on to headline the art-themed mystery/thriller film Still Lives. Based on the novel by Maria Hummel, the film will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and adapted by Rachel Hallett Hardcastle. Lawrence will play an employee of a museum who becomes involved in some mysterious deaths. Lawrence will be joined in the cast by Shia LaBeouf (The Glass Menagerie, One Day More) and Rinko Kikuchi (Shōgun, The Champions of Angor). LaBeouf will play Lawrence's ex-boyfriend while Kikuchi will play a famous visual artist.

Firestorm:
Mark Rylance (The Stranger, The Letter J) and Jimmy Tatro (Vixen: The Totems of Zambesi, "Gauntlet") have officially inked their deals to reprise their role as the two-person superhero, Firestorm, in a solo film. Kevin Bacon (Burnt Dreams, Black Lightning) has also signed on to appear in the film, once again playing the mysterious Eobard Thawne. William Eubank (The Signal, Underwater) has been tasked with directing the film based on a script by Jimmy Ellis (Task Force X, Teen Titans) and H.G. Hansen (Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever, Sabbatical Recovery).
