Reaction: After last season's box office struggles, it is certainly nice to start off Season 19 with a legitimate box office hit. Task Force X is the first of three DC Comics Universe films this season, so we can only hope the others are as successful.
"Between all the jokey banter and call backs, it was hard to make out the real story of Task Force X at times. If pressed, I'd say it's about a bunch of supervillains joking around and fighting ninjas, because that's about all I remember." - Manny Duncan, San Antonio Express-News
"It's not every day you get to see the villains of the DC universe hold onto the spotlight, but it makes for a delightful time, led by a commanding performance by Halle Berry. Add in strong showings by Mackenzie Davis and John David Washington among others and a fast-paced, fun-filled story and you have another winner from the DC Universe." - Mitchell Parker, New York Times
"Director Guy Ritchie and writer Jimmy Ellis are clearly having fun with the characters in Task Force X. Sometimes they may be having too much fun letting the various bad guys banter as the plot becomes insignificant at times as a result." - Sean Williamson, Toronto Star
Rated PG-13 for intense action throughout and some language
