X-Men: The Cure: Millie Bobby Brown (The Powerpuff Girls, X-Men), Jessie Buckley (Recursion, Lowell) and Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Red, Gambit and Rogue) are all set to reprise their roles as Kitty Pryde, Jean Grey and Mystique, respectively. They will also be joined by Diana Silvers (Gambit and Rogue, "Space Force") reprising her role as Rogue from Gambit and Rogue following the events of that film. Alex Garland directs based on a script by Dwight Gallo.
Aliens vs. Predator: The Long War: Morena Baccarin (Halo: Reach, Splinter Cell: Double Agent), Chris O'Dowd (Kylie Dates New York City, "Get Shorty"), Rupert Friend (Buried Memories, Adr1ft) and Djimon Hounsou (Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King, Shazam) have joined the impressive ensemble cast of the latest Alien/Predator Anthology film from director Rupert Wyatt and writer Carl Flimmer.
Antarctica: Jude Law (Outlaw Country, Cyrano de Bergerac), Nicholas Hoult (The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches, Germinal) and George Mackay (Excalibur, Worried Mind) have joined Ralph Fiennes and Charlie Hunnam in Antarctica from director Danny Boyle and writer Wyatt Allen. They will join the previously announced cast as members of the ill-fated Terra Nova Expedition to reach the South Pole.
Strawberry High: Long-time television writer Terri Minsky ("Lizzie McGuire", "Andi Mack") is set to make her directorial debut on a teen drama from writer Jacob Jones (The Crow: Wings of Isaiah, Kazaria). Brighton Sharbino (Radioflash, American Skin), Emily Carey ("Get Even", Tomb Raider) and Megan Charpentier (It, The Shack) have signed on to the cast of the film. Sharbino will play a level-headed high schooler at Strawberry High School, Carey will play a snobby teen classmate, while Charpentier will play an over-achiever. Jason Reitman (Maple Leaf, The Front Runner) is producing the film for the first-time filmmaker.
Excellent Women: Amanda Seyfried (The Powerpuff Girls, The Champions of Angor), Drew Barrymore (The Stand In, "Santa Clarita Diet") and Jessica Rothe (Booster Gold: Lost in Time, Valley Girl) have signed on to star in Excellent Women, an adaptation of the 1952 novel of the same name by Barbara Pym. Seyfried will play a young spinster, Barrymore will play her neighbor, while Rothe will play a friend to Seyfried's character. Greta Gerwig (The Youngest Hart, Theater Kids) is set to helm the film from an adaptation by Rosie JoLove (The Wonder, The Kiss Quotient).
Plastic Man 2: Electric Boogaloo: As expected, Glenn Howerton (Alien: Out of the Shadows, No Laughing Matter), Elisabeth Moss (Sleeping Beauties, Bad Dreams Come True) and Dan Fogler (The Cape, Plastic Man) are all back for another semi-superheroic adventure in Plastic Man 2: Electric Boogaloo. This time around our hero finds himself helping the feds on a case in a tropical paradise. Rawson Thurber Marshall (Plastic Man, Skyscraper) is back to direct from a script by APJ (Green Lantern Corps, Urban Cowboy).
