3. The Crow: The Wings of Isaiah
This sequel was definitely an improvement over The Crow: Resurrected. The action was bigger and better and the supporting characters were more colorful and memorable. The ending is clearly teasing a third entry, so I will be interested to see what Jones and Raimi have up their sleeves.
2. Chris Evans
It's been a while since we've seen Chris Evans on LRF screens - not since the terrible Metal Gear Solid 2. I didn't love The Lone Gunman as it felt a bit too generic for me, but Evans was good in the lead role.
1. Boys of the Bayou
I enjoyed Boys of the Bayou. The soundtrack was great - as was the chemistry between Jackson and Washington. I did have some issues with the film - Spike Lee didn't seem like a great fit as director and Bill Murray is wasted in his role - but nothing catastrophic.
3. The Crow: Wings of Isaiah Soundtrack
This soundtrack featured one of the most bizarre combinations of songs I can imagine. Beyonce, Slipknot, Ricky Martin and Carl Orff all in one soundtrack? Yikes.
2. John Boyega as The Crow
I don't think Boyega is a bad actor, but I did not buy him for a second as The Crow. He lacks the intensity I associate with the role.
1. Box Office
It's never good to start a season in the hole financially. I doubt the studio is too worried though as there are several big-budget franchise films on the schedule for the rest of the season.
