Resume: Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper started his work with Last Resort Films all the way back in its first season, but hasn't worked much for the studio in the past 10 seasons. This season he is back with a new star vehicle, so it seems like a good time to take a look at the star's filmography in this latest edition of Resume....

Round 1
Paradise Lost
Director: Tarsem Singh
Writer: Matt Parker

Budget: $201,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $229,116,009
Foreign Box Office: $405,906,679
Total Profit: $206,897,860

Bradley Cooper started his LRF resume off with a bang. Paradise Lost was well-liked by critics, and still remains one of the most successful fantasy films the studio has ever made even after 20 seasons.

Season 5
True West
Director: John Wells
Writer: Dwight Gallo

Budget: $30,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $35,027,021
Foreign Box Office: $31,041,783
Total Profit: $5,713,917

Next up for Cooper was a co-starring role alongside Matthew McConaughey in True West, which remains one of the few films in the studio's history with a Metascore of 90 or more. The duo also won the Best Starring Couple GRA for the film - Cooper's only GRA win.

Mass Effect: Cerberus
Director: Alfonso Cuaron
Writer: Seth Overton

Budget: $178,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $240,555,129
Foreign Box Office: $261,900,647
Total Profit: $148,442,002

Cooper's busy Season 5 continued with a starring role in the first of the Mass Effect spin-off films. The film garnered decent reviews, but more importantly was a big success at the box office.

Ringer
Director: Scott Derrickson
Writer: Dwight Gallo

Budget: $53,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $54,347,046
Foreign Box Office: $60,013,121
Total Profit: -$2,787,025

Bradley Cooper finished his Season 5 with a dual role in the sci-fi thriller, Ringer. Playing the hero and his evil clone, Cooper managed to secure a GRA nomination for Best Villain for his performance (or one of his performances) in the film.

Season 6
Life on Mars
Director: Doug Liman
Writer: John Malone

Budget: $74,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $62,083,078
Foreign Box Office: $70,402,995
Total Profit: -$6,239,849

Bradley Cooper came back in Season 6 with Life on Mars, which failed to make a profit at the box office despite the positive critical reception.

Season 7
Mr. Big
Director: Kathryn Bigelow
Writer: James Morgan

Budget: $65,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $65,678,056
Foreign Box Office: $58,852,471
Total Profit: $10,507,886

Next up for Cooper was a starring role in Kathryn Bigelow's LRF debut, the crime-drama Mr. Big. The film managed a couple GRA nominations, but nothing for Cooper's performance.

Season 11
Mass Effect 3 - Part 1
Director: Rian Johnson
Writer: Seth Overton

Budget: $265,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $367,119,030
Foreign Box Office: $442,905,669
Total Profit: $358,994,284

Bradley Cooper next reprised his role from Mass Effect: Cerberus in the massive two-part franchise finale. He was just a small part of the ensemble, but the film still was a colossal hit at the box office.

Season 14
Sunny Days
Director: Bennett Miller
Writer: Jacob Jones

Budget: $40,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $25,304,553
Foreign Box Office: $10,821,795
Total Profit: -$45,804,668

After a few seasons away from the studio, Bradley Cooper returned in Season 14 with the wrestling biopic Sunny Days. He played WWE founder Vince MacMahon in the film. The film was a sizable bomb at the box office and didn't fare much better with critics, although his performance was noted as one of the few highlights.

Up Next: Cooper has a handful of projects in the works for the studio, including another starring role later this season. He's also expected to star in a project next season and direct a film in the near future for the studio.
