Season 1 Episode 4 - Hungry Eyes

Plot: Chief Lincoln Red Crow (Wes Studi) arrives home after a long day at the casino accompanied by a prostitute. The woman begins going down on him at the front door when she trips over something. Red Crow looks at the ground and finds a large stack of copies of the articles about the Standing Rock FBI murders on his door step. Red Crow tells the prostitute to leave. She reminds Red Crow that he drove her there. Red Crow throws a $100 bill at her and tells her to call herself a taxi or something.

Gina Bad Horse (Tantoo Cardinal) wakes up in the middle of the night for a glass of water. She drops the glass when she finds Red Crow sitting in her living room looking at old family photo albums. He calmly pleads with Gina to stop protesting his soon-to-be-opened casino. She sits down across from him and asks him if he remembers Lawrence Belcourt. Red Crow sets some of the articles on the table, saying that if he didn't he certainly does now. Gina tells Red Crow that she has decided to visit Lawrence in prison in Kansas. Red Crow wishes her luck with that and leaves the house.

Dash (Martin Sensmeier) sits in a tribal police patrol car on top of a hill overlooking a junkyard. He pulls out some binoculars and looks through them. In the junkyard, Carol Red Crow (Jessica Matten) is having sex with a man on the hood of a demolished old car. Dash continues watching as the man finishes. Carol then walks away. Dash gets out of the car and walks toward the junkyard, nightstick in-hand. Carol has already left and the man is trying to get his car to start as Dash approaches. Dash asks the man if needs a hand, then smashes the driver-side window with the nightstick. Dash pulls the man through the shattered window and begins beating on him until he is unconscious. With the man beaten to a bloody pulp, Dash is satisfied and walks away.

Meanwhile, Diesel (Kevin Gage) is having sex with a prostitute in a motel room, repeatedly calling her Gina. The prostitute points out that her name isn't Gina. Diesel tells her he doesn't care and continues until he finishes. As he lays on the bed, his phone begins to ring. He looks at the caller ID, which says Gina.

Dash is driving toward the casino when he sees Dino Poor Bear (Kiowa Gordon) walking along the side of the road. Dash drives past, but decides to stop and pull up next to Dino. Dash asks Dino is he's been staying away from meth and his former crew. Dino confirms that he has. Dash then asks how Dino is making money these days. Dino shrugs and says he isn't. Dash tells Dino to get in the car. They drive to the casino and go inside. Dash leads Dino towards Red Crow's office, but are stopped outside by Shunka (Geno Segers), who asks if they have an appointment. Dash brushes past him and enters the office. Red Crow, sitting behind his desk, asks Dash what he wants. Dash then pulls Dino into the room and demands that Red Crow give Dino an honest job at the casino. Red Crow agrees and tells Dino to show up for a janitorial job next week when the casino finally opens. Dino thanks Red Crow profusely. Dash and Dino then leave the office. Shunka closes the door behind them and returns to standing guard outside the office. The prostitute comes out from under Red Crow's desk and wipes her mouth. Red Crow pays her and she leaves.
