The Producer: Phoebe Dynevor ("Bridgerton", "Snatch"), Karl Glusman (Wolf, Grayson), Damon Wayans Jr. (The Harder They Fall, Cherry), the rapper Pitbull and Donna Murphy (The Bourne Legacy, Anastasia: Once Upon a Time) will round out the cast of the Bradley Cooper-led The Producer. Bradley Cooper is also directing the Hollywood true crime story from a script by Lon Charles, the true crime maestro.
Judas Iscariot: Bradley James ("Bounty Hunters", Underworld: Blood Wars), Sophie Marceau (I Love America, The Missionaries), Aden Young (Deprogramming, Elsewhere) and Marc-Andre Grondin (Mafia Inc., Goon: Last of the Enforcers) have signed on for supporting roles in Jeff Nichols' Judas Iscariot biopic. James will play another follower of Jesus Christ, Marceau will play Jesus' mother, Young will play John the Baptist, while Grondin will play Lazarus in the Biblical drama. John Malone penned the film.
The Big One: H. Jon Benjamin (Plastic Man, Creative Control), Fred Hechinger (The Woman in the Window, News of the World) and Jake Lacy ("The White Lotus", Being the Ricardos) have joined the first release of Season 24, Paul Thomas Anderson's The Big One. Benjamin will play a high school civics teacher, Hechinger will play a classmate of the main character (played by Sadie Sink) and Lacy will play a dim-witted police deputy. John Malone and Jimmy Ellis penned the film.
Knight Rider: Chris Pratt and Dakota Johnson will have some company in the big screen Knight Rider film in the form of Jeff Goldblum (Radisson, American Dream), Dean Norris (The Andromeda Strain, Someone Else) and Charles Dance (Mexican Gothic, Village of Madness). Dance and Goldblum will play men involved in the creation of the supercar KITT, while Norris will play a gangster. DJ Caruso is directing the film from an adaptation by Joshua Collins.
Natural Selection: Angelina Jolie (Emergency, High Society), Warren Beatty (Rules Don't Apply, Town & Country) and Jared Leto (Missing Men, Femme Fatale) are set to headline Natural Selection, a new erotic thriller from director Paul Verhoeven (Benedetta, Elle). Beatty will play a publishing tycoon who marries a beautiful younger woman, played by Jolie. Leto, meanwhile, will play Beatty's son who is suspicious of Jolie's motives. The film was written by Roy Horne (Carpenter, Poison Ivy: Mind Games) and Chad Taylor (Booster Gold: Back in Time, Broadway).
Midnight Tales: Directors John Carpenter (The War, Ghosts of Mars), David Bruckner (The Night House, The Ritual), Fede Alvarez (House Without End, Alien: Isolation) and Adam Wingard (Maledicta, Damned Ship) are set to helm the different segments of the big screen horror anthology film, Midnight Tales. Nick Robinson (Rookie's Road, Isla Vista), Samara Weaving (The Brilliant Friend, Namor the Sub-Mariner) and Adelaide Kane (The Brilliant Friend, Under Pressure) are the first group of actors to join the large ensemble cast. The script was written by Ben Collins (The Betrothed, Maledicta), Andrew Doster (The Curse of Janara, The Brilliant Friend) and Jack Slipter (The Nest, Ghost Stories).
