Revival: Madison Iseman (Maledicta, Whaling), Olivia Rodrigo ("High School Musical: The Musical: The Series"), Rachel Keller ("Tokyo Vice", A Man Called Otto) and Laura San Giacomo (Violet, Honey Boy) have signed on to join Tom Hanks and Kyle Chandler in the latest Frank Darabont-helmed Steven Spielberg adaptation. Chad Taylor penned the adaptation, which is obviously hoping to break the "Novel Adaptation Curse".

Nineteen Minutes: Alex Garfin ("Superman & Lois"), Elsie Fisher (Collapse, The Child Martyr), Kate Hudson (The King of Hearts, Glass Onion) and Pedro Pascal (Oklahoma!, God of War) will headline an adaptation of the novel by Jodi Piccoult, which tells the story of a how a school shooting affects a small town in New Hampshire. Garfin will play a bullied teenager, Fisher will play a popular girl, Hudson will play Fisher's mother who is also the town's judge, while Pascal will play a police detective. Matt Ross ("Gaslit", Captain Fantastic) is directing the film from a script by Joshua Collins (Krueger, Undefeated Abe).

Nightwing: Despite the lukewarm box office reception to Grayson, Taron Egerton (Grayson, Batman: In The Shadows) is officially set to star in the sequel, Nightwing. Madelaine Petsch (Birds of Prey, Batgirl) is also set to appear in the film, reprising her role as Barbara Gordon / Batgirl following the positive reviews of her solo film. Alfred Molina (Pocahontas, October Crisis) has also signed on to play an undisclosed villainous role. Daniels will not be returning to direct this entry, instead being replaced by stuntman-turned-director Sam Hargrave (Extraction). Jimmy Ellis (The Driftwood Populace, Blue Beetle: Legacy) is back to write the script.

Believe It or Not!: As it was revealed in this season's Gossip Rage, Seth MacFarlane ("The Orville", The Phantom of the Opera) has signed on to star in and direct a biopic on Ripley's Believe It or Not creator Robert Ripley. The film will chart Ripley's rise from cartoonist to world famous adventurer. Joining MacFarlane in the film will be Giovanni Ribisi (Harrelson, The Devil in the White City) and Ted Danson (White Tiger, Supergirl). Ribisi will play Ripley's research assistant, while Danson will play publishing mogul William Randolph Hearst. Lon Charles (The Producer, Sinatra) wrote the script for the film.

The Watsons Go to Birmingham: JD McCrary (EarthBound, 13), Caleb McLaughlin (Sandbox, "Stranger Things"), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel, No Time to Die) and Brian Tyree Henry (Drawing Dion, Unknown) have been cast as the titular family in a new adaptation of Christopher Paul Curtis' novel The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963, about a family going on a trip from Michigan to Alabama to visit family. Dee Rees (The Nickel Boys, Mudbound) is directing the film. Wesley Campbell (Run, Supercrooks) wrote the film with help from HG Hansen (We Were Never Here, Unknown) as a producer.

The Long Way Home:
Andrew Garfield (Shoe Dog, Worried Mind) and Emma Stone (Stepford, Escape the Unknown) have signed on to headline The Long Way Home. The LRF debut of director Cameron Crowe (Aloha, Elizabethtown), the romantic dramedy will tell the story of a writer (Garfield) writing a book about a 1950s sitcom star (Stone). Chad Taylor (The Sandman: Season of Mists, Monaco) penned the film.
