The Sandman: Season of Mists: Andy Serkis (Pulp, And the Birds Rained Down), Ciaran Hinds (An Eye For An Eye, Gorky Park), David Patrick Kelly (VFW, "Twin Peaks") and Gbenga Akinnagbe (Passing, "The Old Man") will round out the cast of The Sandman: Season of Mists. Akinnagbe will play an African king, while Hinds will play one of Dream's siblings, Destiny. Serkis and Kelly will both have voice/motion-capture roles in the film. Jennifer Kent directs from a script by Chad Taylor.

No Promises in the Wind: Dafne Keen (Run, The Troop), Andrew Lincoln (Northrock, Our Father), Andrea Risebourgh (The Osterman Weekend, Amsterdam), Jean Dujardin (A Life, Germinal) and the Canadian rapper/singer Drake have signed on to join the cast of Steven Spielberg's latest film, the period drama No Promises in the Wind. Keen will play the love interest of the main character played by Jacob Tremblay, Lincoln and Riseborough will play his parents, Dujardin will play a carnival owner, and Drake will play a rich mobster. Rachel Hallett Hardcastle wrote the script based on the novel by Irene Hunt.

Troll Mountain: Brendan Fraser (Uncharted 4, Buried Child), Paul Mescal (Audible, "Normal People"), Steve Agee ("Peacemaker", Violet) and Patrick Stewart (Prodigy, Evangelion) have all joined Troll Mountain in voice/motion-capture roles as some of the mountain trolls in the film. Fraser will be the Troll King, Stewart an elderly troll, Agee an unintelligent troll, and Mescal the troll prince. George Miller helms the big-budget fantasy adventure from a script by Sammy-Jo Ellis. The film is based on the novella by Matthew Reilly.

The Punisher: Last Exit: Goran Višnjić (Never Here, Fatima), Rade Serbedzija (Germinal, Easy Money), Isidora Goreshter ("Shameless", "Condor") and Zahari Baharov (The Monuments Men, The Way Back) have signed on to join the Mel Gibson-led The Punisher: Last Exit in villainous roles. Their characters will be the figures behind a dangerous Eastern European sex trafficking ring that has set up shop in Brooklyn, New York. S. Craig Zahler directs the Marvel Universe film from a script by Dwight Gallo.

Kazaria: Burns of the Lavita: Daniel Kaluuya (Kazaria, The Past Before), Suki Waterhouse (Golden Girl, Kazaria) and Andre Holland (Kazaria, The Temptations) are set to return for the sequel to Kazaria, reprising their previous roles as Trent Ashere, Robyn Mogov and  Garrett Gesepierre, respectively. Guillermo del Toro is back in the director's chair, once again working from a script by Jacob Jones.

Bunny: Sammi Hanratty (Carmilla, "Yellowjackets"), Sabrina Carpenter (The Water Cure, Zombielove), Molly C. Quinn (Agnes, Last Rampage) and Xolo Mariduena (Spider-Man, "Cobra Kai") have joined the Kaitlyn Dever-led horror film, Bunny, from director Karyn Kusama and writer Abbie Q. The film is based on the novel by Mona Awad.
