Revolution: Taylor Kitsch (Scion, Hawkman), Rachel Brosnahan ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", An Honest Mistake) and Rowan Blanchard (Peter and the Starcatchers, A Wrinkle in Time) have joined the already impressive cast of Sam Mendes and John Malone's 1970s set drama Revolution. Kitsch will play the teacher of Joey King's character, Brosnahan will play a tempting co-worker of Owen Wilson's, while Blanchard will play a girl who lives in the neighborhood.

Looking for Alaska: Andre Braugher (Mass Effect: Cerberus, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine") and Nick Nolte (Inhumans, "Graves") have joined the young adult adaptation Looking for Alaska from director Josh Boone and writer H.G. Hansen. Braugher will play the dean of the boarding school the main characters attend, while Nolte will play a teacher.

Cleopatra: Guy Ritchie's Cleopatra biopic continues to add to its cast with Paul Bettany (Fevre Dream, Red Planet), Theo James (How It Ends, Underworld: Blood Wars) and Alex Wolff (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Hereditary) all signing on to the film. Wolff will play Pharaoh Ptolemy XIII, James will play Julius Caesar's adoptive son Octavian, and Bettany will play astronomer Sosigenes.

Gargoyles: Toby Kebbell (Dracula Origins, Femme Fatale), Melissa George (PLanet LV 426, The Butterfly Tree), Brian Cox (Super Troopers 2, "Succession"), Evan Peters (The Associate, "American Horror Story") and John C. Reilly (Kong: Skull Island, The Little Hours) have all joined the cartoon adaptation Gargoyles from director Gore Verbinski and writer Roy Horne as the rest of the primary gargoyle characters. Kebbell will provide the voice and motion capture for Brooklyn, second in command of the Gargoyle clan behind Vin Diesel's Goliath. Reilly will provide the voice and motion capture for Broadway, a good-natured comedic gargoyle. Cox will provide the voice and motion capture for Hudson, an elderly gargoyle who serves as an advisor to Goliath. Evan Peters will provide the voice and motion capture of Lexington, the youngest of the gargoyle clan. George will portray Demona, a gargoyle who is no longer frozen in stone by daylight like the other gargoyles.

Numero Uno: Shane Black (The Nice Guys, Iron Man 3) has signed onto direct his first film for Last Resort Films, an original action-comedy from writer Jack Ryder (Standing Back, The Grind). Tom Hardy (Mass Effect 2, Hated: The Ballad of GG Allin), Chris Hemsworth (Nation's Pride, Thor: Ragnarok) and Alexander Skarsgard (Halo 2, "Big Little Lies") have signed on to star in the film where they will play a trio of spies all vying for the top spot in their company.

Pressing Luck: Chad Taylor (Scion, Swim Through the Darkness) has written a film based on the true story of Michael Larson, a man who won over $100,000 by memorizing the patterns used on the game board of the game show Press Your Luck. Wyatt Russell (Goon: Last of the Enforcers, Shimmer Lake), Elizabeth Banks (Power Rangers, Pitch Perfect 3) and Jenny Slate (Hotel Artemis, The Polka King) have signed on to appear in the film. Russell will play Larson, Banks will play a TV host who interviews Larson, while Slate will portray a fellow contestant on the show. Bennett Miller (Shake Hands with the Devil, Foxcatcher) will direct the film.
