Reaction: Projects like this can be pretty risky (see Atlas Shrugged), but the star power (which cost quite the pretty penny on this one) and strength of the plot carried this one to a decent little profit.
"This is precisely the type of film most studios are too afraid to make these days: a big-budget, star-driven ensemble drama. I, for one, am certainly glad that Last Resort Films took a chance on a film like this. Not only was it a great watch, but it is also encouraging that these types of films can still secure a greenlight." - Pearce Chayka, Daily Telegraph
"Every single role in Revolution, from top to bottom, is impeccably cast - from the swinging pilot played by a surprisingly charming Ben Affleck to the rebellious teenager in love with her teacher played by Joey King." - Willa Pulaski, Salon.com
"There's simply too much going on here. Too many main characters, too many plot threads to keep track of, etc. Hell, the son of Kate Winslet and Jason Bateman's characters simply disappears from the film halfway through never to be mentioned again, despite all that is going on with his parents in the end." - Paul Landon, Film School Rejects
