In Development

Prey: The additions of Marc Blucas (Green Arrow 2: Hunters, Tumulus), Katie McGrath (Jurassic World, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) and Kathryn Newton (Lady Bird, Pokemon Detecive Pikachu) will round out the cast of the techno-thriller Prey from writer Jack Slipter and director Neil Burger. Blucas and McGrath will play scientists, while Newton will play the daughter of Colin Farrell and Vera Farmiga.

Assassin's Creed: The New Order: James Cameron's Assassin's Creed film has added Lea Seydoux (Justice League International, Booster Gold II: The Booster Gold Story), Yayan Ruhian (Mortal Kombat, Beyond Skyline) and Karl Glusman (Martian Manhunter, "Rolling Stone") to its cast. Like with most Cameron projects, specifics details regarding the characters have not been released. Meirad Tako penned the film.

Days Without End: The historical war film from director Doug Liman and writer Jimmy Eliis has added the likes of Q'orianka Kilcher (Green Arrow, "The Alienist"), Jack Huston (Delaware, Adr1ft), Willem Dafoe (To the Other Side, Heart of Stone) and Barry Pepper (The Lady in the Lake, Bitter Harvest). Huston will play a saloon owner, Pepper a soldier, and Kilcher the niece of a Native American chief.

Doctor Love: The screenwriting duo of Mo Buck and Chad Taylor, which brought us the Season 9 Best Original Story Golden Reel Winning film Calamity, have teamed up again. This time they have penned the film Doctor Love, set in the world of 1980s wrestling. Jon Hamm (Captain Atom, An Honest Mistake), Chris Hemsworth (Skyrim, Bravo/Samurai) and Billy Magnussen (Missing Men, Justice League International) have all signed on to headline the film, which will be directed by Steven Soderbergh (Carmilla, Logan Lucky). Hamm will play a doctor who provides wrestlers with steroids, while Hemsworth and Magnussen will both play popular wrestlers.

The Reign of Lady Morgana: Elle Fanning (Letter to Myself, Perfect Blue) and Charlize Theron (Numero Uno, Atlas Shrugged) are both set to return to work for the studio in this desert-set horror story from writer Andrew Doster (Parasite, Reality) and director Sam Raimi (Oz the Great and Powerful, Drag Me to Hell). Fanning will play a young woman stranded stranded in the desert with a friend. Theron will play the owner of a peculiar inn.

Kindred: Ava DuVernay (Alex + Ada, Lullabies for Little Criminals) is set to direct an adaptation of Octavia Butler's novel Kindred. Lupita Nyong'o (Suzanne, Mass Effect 3 - Part 1) and Chris Pratt (Sandbox, Six Billion Dollar Man) have signed on to headline the film. Nyong'o's character begins to find herself waking up in 1815, while Pratt will play her husband in the present. Jimmy Ellis (The Devil in the White City, Vixen: The Totems of Zambesi) has penned the adaptation.
